Dr. Joseph Wollman, MD

My son has been accident prone his whole life. We used to visit the er more then I want to admit. Just last night we needed emergency services after a snowboarding incident. Dr Wollman was incredible, even though he was extremely busy he was sharp and on top of things. Most thorough ER visit I’ve ever witnessed. I’m truly impressed.

As anyone else I ended up in the ER unexpectedly. When Dr. Wollman arrived he made sure I was comfortable and wanted to answer all my questions. I never felt rushed and was delighted with the amount of help that was provided to me. The next morning he called to follow up to see how I felt and to verify my follow up appointment as it needed to be immediate. He found out it was 7 months out and asked if I'd be okay with going to a different location as this was time sensitive. I was absolutely thrilled that he was guiding me to try to help expedite this. Who I spoke to earlier had no interest and offered no help with options. Not only did he guide me but after verifying that it was okay to share my info with the neurologist he also reached out to them stating the importance of this appointment. I feel as if this man fought to make sure I was being seen and taken serious. I was feeling defeated earlier but he was absolutely amazing and went out of his way. Truly thank you Dr. Wollman!

Dr. Wollman provided the best possible care considering the stressful situation. He was extremely empathetic and listened to my concerns patiently and addressed them accordingly. I found him to be extremely empathetic to my needs and concerns and addressed them appropriately.

He was thorough, listened to my concerns and answered each question I had. This was the best care I could ask for.

Just left the emergency room at Harper Hospital with my dad who has stage 4 cancer, been vomiting all night, chest pains all night and swollen feet out of nowhere. After sitting for 7 hrs with no update, a nurse tells us he’s being discharged. After telling her we never spoke with a dr for a update on various tests, she goes to get him after saying she can’t answer any questions. Dr Joseph Wollman was very rude, extremely dismissive, and unsympathetic to my dad who was visibly sick so much so that when we first got there Dr Wollman commented on how bad he looked. After talking to his primary doctor... Dr Elisabeth Heath it was decided that no care would be given at the ER but to follow up with her. My dad had questions about what to do if his symptoms persist but dr Wollman wouldn’t answer them and talked over him repeatedly. Finally throwing his hands up saying “what is it that you all want me to do” it was only after i got angry did he apologize but still refused to answer questions.
