Not a Doctor for me
My first visit 3 years ago, his demeanor was cold and dismissive. I wrote it off to perhaps having a bad day. Second visit, he proceeded to freeze 5 or 6 moles then lectured me, in front of his nurse on the need to wear sunscreen, long sleeves and a hat when outside. At one point telling me to look him in the eye when he speaks. I'm a 75 year old man, not a five year old. I should have called him out on his tone and condescending manner right then and left but I chose to be the adult in the room. Visit number 3, he proceeded to freeze off 8 moles and then lectured me on the need to get rid of all t-shirts and shorts, wear a hat and sunscreen. He read off what was his laundry list of do's and don'ts. I live in Florida, not the Great North. I wear sunscreen and a hat at all times. This guy may have 40 years of experience but somewhere along the line, he lost his compassion or simple people skills. Not a doctor that I would ever recommend or see again. Three strikes and you're out Doc.

Thought a sore that wouldn’t heal was funny!
I had an inflamed area on top of my head for over a year. Dr Yohn kept freezing it to no avail. Then an open sore emerged that wasn’t healing for over 4 months. I saw Dr. Yohn and his first response was: “Oh, the old ‘sore that wont heal’” said in a obnoxious attempt to make a joke about it. I had a squamous cell carcinoma that required extensive surgery (not by him) for something that he thought was funny!

I had a very bad skin issue on my legs. Dr Yohn made me feel like I was in great, capable hands right away. He knew exactly how to handle it, explained it to me, took a scraping, and was very thorough in his exam. He understood my anxiety, pain, and fear right away. He explained what he though it was, had an immediate treatment in mind, scheduled followup appointment and reassured me that it would be ok He was very patient, and we even joked a little. I was very impressed and extremely relieved that he was there for me His treatment was right on the nose and the first time I used the prescription the pain was gone. He is a marvel!!!

Dr. Yohn spotted a malignancy on my upper shoulder in a very early stage of development. His keen eye, and expertise saved me from a much more problematic outcome. He is thorough, knowledgeable and one of the few physicians that refers to medical literature as he discusses treatment options. Can't praise him enough.

Went into his office and had a tiny mole removed. After pathology came back, had to go in and have more removed. Ended up with very bad staff infection, put in hospital for 3 days. On day 11 of driving to get daily antibiotic infusion therapy. On day 9 of wearing a wound vac coming out of my abdomen. Don't know how long I will have to continue this. O, and by the way, I have NOT had any phone calls from him or his office to find out how I'm doing. Thanks for this experience ! Stay a way

My family has been seeing Dr. Yohn for years and we think he and his team are wonderful. Dr. Yohn is excellent at what he does, easy to talk to, and great about answering my endless questions. If you need a good dermatologist, this is the guy to see.

Had an appointment with Dr. Yohn to check a suspicious area on my face. He told me it wasn't anything to worry about and it was just an AK. He froze it and the spot came back. Then had me use a chemo topical drug a lot longer than recommended and I started having a reaction to it. He also told me to just go to a plastic surgeon to have my AK lasered off. Got a second opinion and it was skin cancer. I was also told that ointment shouldn't have been used that long. Never heard from Dr. Yohn

This doctor never pay attention what patient thinks about way of treatment. The fear of losing a license is read in his eyes. Even if you are on a wheelchair, if traffic jams are five minutes late, and you can go back home. The absolutely inhuman attitude that he calls the Company's policies. Cold in the eyes and in the heart.

I had an appointment with the Dr. and I left my home in plenty of time to get to the office, however, I was held up by a street paving job going on. This was a busy road and a lot of traffic which delayed me. Making it to the office it took me another 5-6 minutes to get a parking place. Upon entering the office I was informed I was over 5 minutes late and I would have to reschedule. They only allow a patient to be 5 minutes late. I pleaded it was circumstances beyond my control that made me late

I was distressed with Dr. Yohn's approach. It was an annual check with a specific suspicious 'spot'. It was quickly identified for a kill (liquid nitrogen). The gun came out.And in rapid succession another spot (previous diagnosed as 'nothing') also a kill. I pointed to a place above my lip, it was quickly shot and and another spot on my lip next to it. No discussion about the temporary weeks long disfigurement. Be prepared for this 'gun slinging' approach. He is no non-sense-'bam'.

Following an appointment with Dr. Yohn, we researched the diagnosis and found some concerning information. That evening a message was sent to Dr. Yohn through the patient portal asking some follow up questions. The very next morning, Dr. Yohn personally called to answer our questions and calm our fears.
