Dr. Josh Bettner, DO

I had a telehealth appointment this morning with Dr. Bettner and it went really well. I needed a PCP in South Florida so I decided to register with him and One Medical. I will be going to Miami later this month for an annual wellness visit in person. I would really like labwork completed and my vitals taken and you can't do that on Zoom.... Dr. Bettner took my full medical history today and didn't rush through my history. I felt like he really knows my prior conditions, surgeries, etc. and really took the time to listen to my current concerns. Overall, I think he's a really nice doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Bettner.

Dr Bettner is so thorough and listens to his patients. He is gentle, kind and caring. A wonderful doctor

Saw him for a follow-up to an urgent care visit. He was friendly, professional, & thorough.

First ever appointment with him and he didn't ask any questions about my history/ any details or try and form a relationship. The reason for the visit was insomnia. His only solution was to prescribe me Ambien. I told him I wasn't comfortable taking that medicine, he proceeded to tell me it's a safe medication to use. He said he would send it to the pharmacy. I told him I wouldn't pick it up. He had no other solutions or recommendations.

Average. He’s newer. Needs support with a whole-health approach. A mentor could provide Josh with that much-needed wisdom. With multiple co-morbidity factors, I was taken aback by Josh rushing me in our first appointment. Also, he filled a Rx for me without any prior consultation [really!]. That’s not all on him. Managed care has devastated the physician-patient relationship! Ironically, Josh is a step up from my prior PCP ...... yes, that was a very LOW BAR. I hope Josh remains open to learning.

Dr. Bettner is a caring person who is looking out for the patient best interest. He looks at the person and what their needs are versus what the person thinks. Dr. Bettner goes above all other doctors and cares for his Patients

I lost over sixty pounds under his care. He understands how low carb diets impact blood sugar levels and adjusted medicines appropriately.

Dr Bettner is never in a rush to move on to the next patient. He is thorough, empathetic and trustworthy

I have been using a local Family Medical Facility where resident physicians rotate and/or graduate every one to two years. I am still trying to find Dr. B. The best physician I've had in all my years of living. Grand statement, you bet it is. He encouraged me so much, I was able to accomplish things that I didn't think I could accomplish. And he was honesty, tactful and caring. Always covered his bases, was aware of my medical struggles and always gave me the best medical advice possible.
