I was supposed to have knee replacement surgery May 10th 2023 but was canceled the week before due to Dr Beck being let go by Star Valley for his usual Ego trip New Jersey attitude. Yes good doctor, but his ego gets in the way at times. Over all I’m an happy that my surgery with Dr Beck was canceled as I feel I got a way better and caring Wyoming raised doctor from Afton that will take much better care of me and he showed me that all in one appointment.

He puffs up his skills. He is not a neurosurgeon, pass him up if you have a spine problem, especially a cervical spine problem. He doesn't have the diagnostic skills to make life alteringly decisions about spine surgery, He destroyed my life, really, everything, I never could go back to work, my condition was much worse than before the surgery by him. Save your life and go to a neurosurgeon in a more populated place. Beck trolls for innocent people in the small western towns of Wyoming.

My original injury and surgey was mid year 1996. Over the last few years, 2020 to present, low back pain, leg pain and numbness and sever muscle spams became a regular and consistent problem. MRI showed some problems we tried to address with PT. One bad episode or spasms and pain were enough to take the next step, surgery. It was a longer wait to get in than I would have liked but that happens. Surgery went very well. I had one very bad day due to muscle spasms in my upper back, probably from the position I was in during the surgery. After that, no problems but boredom. I did not take any pain medication besides OTC after pain reliever. three days after surgery. Feel great. Doing everything I have wanted to do - being careful to follow doctors orders - without issue. Doing my PT with no issues. Very happy with all results.

I have many surgeries at many hospitals and the outcome of this surgery was the most successful immediately after waking up in the recovery room with no tingling and minor pain. The hospital stay was quiet with attentive staff. I highly recommend Dr. Beck to anyone with cervical or carpal tunnel issues.

After 2 years my hip replacement just seems to be better than the other, great overall in service,knowlage,and expertise.

Had L4-L5 fusion with Beck, I never really got better.. Went to another Dr , Dr Hill, & he had to go in & fix Becks messy fusion ( started collapsing & he actually left a screw sticking thru the other side next to main vein. Due to his cage collapsing, I had to have my back fused in 3 more places.. This guy is a joke !! He also used an assistant that wasnt cleared by my insurance & i had to pay out of pocket for it ..Money hungry sore excuse for a human being

I went in for double knee replacement a year ago. After both surgeries I was wondering what I did. With a relatively short recovery, life is so much better! Everything was great from the hospital staff to Dr. Beck's staff.

Beck said my back was fused and it wasn’t. Had another surgeon re do what beck failed to do .also Beck had the drain tube removed sent me hope . And 24hrs later I was life flighted to u of u from the rock springs hospital . When rock springs called him about me he told them to send me home I’d be ok. I was in great pain and he wasn’t there for me . Rock Springs hospital wasn’t equipped to handle spinel surgery. Sent me to u of u and they had to drain fluid from my spine to release the pressure on my spine. He shouldn’t be allowed to perform any more surgeries.

doctor was up front and honest did exactly was he sais hw was going to do I couldnt be happier with the outcome of my surgeries

Dr Beck has performed two back surgeries on me one in June of 2017 and one in April 2022. They both were a success. The second one gave me the extra step I needed to get in shape as I’m 49 now he gave me the ability to do so.
