Dr. Joshua Braun, MD

Dr. Braun is an excellent clinician and extremely patient and compassionate. He listened to my child’s situation and made an appropriate recommendation despite the fact it was hard to hear and not ideal. I’m so glad that we were able to be seen my Dr. Braun, particularly given how he is in high demand.

Horrible experience. made us wait 6 hours when we were set to be discharged to come “consult” to say we need to follow up with our at home provider. That could have been relayed by staff in discharge paperwork as it was not a true consult. Also had the audacity to say that our child was acting out during his consult because it was clear there was a lack of parental consequences. no our child had to sit waiting for 6 hours for a 10 min pointless visit with an iv in after they were told we were good to go as soon as theconsult was done- will NEVER do another psych consult- no wonder so many families deny them at hospitals

Dr. Braun is incredibly compassionate, empathic, and a great diagnostician. He communicated repeatedly and in an understandable way to me and my husband about our son who was struggling. He was treated by him at Morristown Medical Center and felt so good about his care that we now see him at his private practice in Summit. Doctors like Dr. Braun are really hard to find. Thank you Dr. Braun for everything (if you see this)!

Absolutely terrible experience with Dr Braun at Morristown Medical Center. He acted like a cocky, know-it-all doctor with such poor bedside manner and a true lack of empathy and care. “Bully” is the best word to describe the way he treated me and my mother at Morristown Medical Center. He was demeaning and talked over us. Even the patient who was sharing a room with my mother (and who was in the room during the entire visit with Dr Braun) commented that he was incredibly rude to us.

Dr.Braun is an excellent doctor . From being his patient I recommend Dr.Braun for your young adult and family.

Dr. Braun goes out of his way to ensure the best care for his paitents. My son has been rapidly improving since we started visiting Dr. Braun’s office. He is a very good listener and is amazing at connecting and communicating with kids and teens. He has a lot of knowledge in psychaitry. Caring, companionate doctors are hard to find and we are so thankful that Dr. Braun was here to meet my son’s needs.

Basically I was seeing Dr. Braun for a year and a half. I will say that he was one of the worst doctors I have ever had. He is very difficult to get a hold of and will only call you back when it is convenient to him. You will most likely be texting with his assistant Elizabeth to get answers like your grade school children. I may be wrong but since Dr. Braun works at the hospital during the day and sees patients at night....he may be over worked which is why I feel like I wasted time.
