Rushed and unavailable
He was in and out of the exam room in less than 5 minutes. No discussion of my history. No discussion of my current issue. No discussion of the tests he ordered. Not even an indication of when the catheter could be removed that was inserted shortly before he entered the room.

Didn't Help Us
My husband and I saw him in 2018 for male factor infertility. He didn't do anything to help us. He didn't prescribe any medication or refer us to anyone else. All he said was, 'Keep trying.' We eventually did IVF four years later to have a baby. 'Keep trying' didn't work. It just wasted our time and gave us a false sense of hope. His medical advice is about as good as a magic 8 ball, only a magic 8 ball is a lot cheaper.

Condescending. After months of invasive expensive testing for hematuria, I asked him why I still have the hematuria and what is the diagnosis. He shrugged his shoulders. Won’t be seeing him again that’s for sure.

Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Took his time to get the full scope of my issues and explained what was happening very well, along with my treatment options. I would definitely go back to him again.

We have to agree with the above mentioned “CORONER’S ASSISTANT” reference for his total seeming lack of care for anyone who doesn’t fit his “In-and-QUICKLY-out” methods. My father was seen by him in the EARLY AM in a hospital setting- (87 yrs w/ advanced dementia) was told he wouldn’t have his surgery till 6:30 that night, yet dr left orders refusing food/water till after surgery. We asked staff for “just a little something” for him and were told “ABSOLUTELY NOTHING- DR’S ORDERS” The surgery was delayed yet, he was highly confused, had no idea where he was or what had happened, yet the orders were to discharge him afterward-by this time it was almost 9:pm. There is no way he would have been safe at home. Same uncaring disposition in his office for follow up. We are absolutely dreading the next appt for the stent removal. I feel like my dad is being subjected to torture with this guy’s lack of compassion.

Dr Modder and assistant did a great job explaining how the procedure was going to go before we got started. Dr. Modder and assistant also did a great job of asking me how I was doing and also tried to calm my nerves as best they could throughout the procedure.

My wife & I met with Dr. Modder to review my prostate cancer diagnosis and to chart a path forward. He was very thorough in his explanation of my cancer, the variety of treatment options available to us, and the relative merits / potential side effects of each approach. He did not push the treatment he specializes in (Cryoablation) and gave us names of other specialists to consult with. He was aware of the anxiety attached to a cancer diagnosis and treated us with compassionate professionalism.

My husband had some intense pain in his testicles, referred to a different urologist, but we ended up with Dr. Modder. Dr. Modder was dismissive, condescending, and entirely disinterested - he claimed that his GP's original diagnosis couldn't be the problem, but he didn't know what it was, and sent us away with antibiotics. His handling of my husband was extremely rough and forcible, while explaining nothing nor telling us what he was looking for. We canceled the follow-up, and saw another Dr
