Dr. Joshua Pierce, MD

I presented to ER with severe abdominal pain. CT scan revealed a partial small bowel obstruction (again). Dr. Pierce explained all possible routes of remedy. We chose the ?wait and see? route. After 36 hours and three more CT scans with no change, Dr. Pierce again explained the options. I chose surgery and he agreed. He then explained all possible scenarios and outcomes including all risks involved. My decision could not have been more informed. The surgery turned from laproscopic to full incision based on an educated “hunch” from Dr. Pierce. And thank goodness it did, as my small intestine was twisted (and had been for three years. Two years prior a different surgeon did laproscopic exploritory surgery, but found nothing). Dr. Pierce untwisted my small intestines and closed me up. Dr Pierce?s bedside manner is phenominal. His care and concern is genuine. He takes all the time needed to explain everything completely. A+ Surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Pierce. Aloha

Dr. Pierce was kind, meticulous in every way, encouraging, highly conscious and intelligent. He carefully explained every detail of my situation and my options. He spoke to me with respect and care. He had full faith in my positive outcome which is key in assisting people to get well.

Very disappointed.. Maile raised my blood pressure via so called protocol when I explained my concerns she did it anyway despite my level 9 pain and dissatisfaction with my depression and willingness to take my own life as it was the day my mother died so they locked me in a stuffy exam room with zero ventilation.. they will be dealing with deep pocket litigation as soon as my lawyers are informed of their ineptitude and incompetence. I seek to incarcerate Maile for irreparable damages.

Dr. Pierce, is an exceptional Doctor! He takes the time to explain all aspects of treatment plans and general outcomes of certain medical issues. He is precise in his wording, very compassionate to the patient and the family members. I would like to thank DR. PIERCE for his exceptional expertise to his craft and mastery of all medical issues. Thank you again for your top notch professionalism and individual care to your patients.

This Doctor has set the bar very high. He is kind, articulate, explains the procedure thoroughly, funny and shows you respect. That is something most of the Surgeons here could learn. The Staff and Nurses were completely awesome. Highly recommended!!!
