Dr. Joshua Silverstein, MD

Dr. Silverstein is caring, compassionate, & knowledgeable. In the past 6 1/2 years I have seen 4 electrophysiologists who treated me like my symptoms were in my head. NOT Dr Silverstein though. I left his office after a visit and was called to come back. I turned my car around and went back. He thought of something else he wanted to try. Even though I had left he was still thinking of me and reviewing my symptoms. My pacemaker was programmed to his recommendation and I haven't felt this good since I received the pacemaker. He also had to do surgery to fix prior doctors sloppiness. My leads were improperly placed and my second pacemaker as well. The second pacemaker was slipping down my breast and twisting. I'm on the road to recovery now. I CANNOT RECOMMEND A BETTER DOCTOR THAN DR SILVERSTEIN!!

Dr. Silverstein performed a radio frequency ablation. He was able to get me in prior to the covid shutdown and procedure was a great success. This was a window opportunity to correct my heart rhythm. I cannot say enough good things about my treatment and care. Had great communication skills. Follow up was excellent and had no pain or discomfort. I am thoroughly pleased.

I was in Afib with RVR for a few months. After finally seeing a cardiologist, I was not responding to medications. Dr. Silverstein was recommended with great results. Within a month I had a successful ablation. He takes his time with you make sure you understand what is happening each step of your journey. No problems a year later. Dr Silverstein performed an ablation for me in July 2018. I was referred to him after suffering from Supraventricular Tachycardia for 3 years. Dr. Silverstein is an incredible physician!! He is very professional and competent and I particularly appreciate his bedside manner. He is very calming and reassuring especially when describing his impressions of a condition. I appreciate his approach, aggressive when needed and conservative when appropriate. I also appreciated the way he included me in the decisions toward the approach for my care.

I suffered from PVC’s for close to 3 years, had gone to 3 different cardiologists during this time frame. All of them wanted to treat me with medicines. So many changes they put me through! All to no avail! When a friend recommended Dr. Silverstein to me I asked my family doctor for a referral. At my first visit, he said, “I know what you have and I can fix it.” He performed an ablation on me six weeks ago and I have not had a single palpitation since! I’m so grateful for his excellent care!

Dr. Silverstein was very thorough in my treatment and uncovered many other arrhythmias as well as a hole in my heart. Dr Silverstein is very thorough, , approachable and kind. From my initial consultation with him to my procedure day and follow ups, he remains very attentive to your questions and concerns. It is one thing to have a highly intelligent skilled physician, Dr Silverstein’s bedside manner, so to speak, is equally 5 star quality. Additionally, he always has had timely response to email communication., as well. As an RN, I consider myself fortunate to have Dr Silverstein as my electrophysiologist.

My hubby has atrial fibulation. He is a firefighter and in early sixties. National firefighter rules required full recovery. Dr. Silverstein respected my husband's desire to return to work and persevered over 9 months to get him work qualified. I seriously doubt another would do the same. Dr. Silverstein is technically brilliant and emotionally compassionate. Can't ask for more.

I was recommended to Joshua R Silverstein, MD by my family Dr. For AFib. He was right on the target for a good personal Knowledgeably MD. He did a Ablation last November. This is the best I felt in years. Started back in exercising, lifting weights and swimming and I can see a great improvement too.

Dr. Silverstein is amazing Doctor. He did an ablation on me last May. I am doing great and feel like I can do anything. He has a great personality and easy to talk to. I would recommend Dr. Silverstein to anyone.
