Dr. Joy Gianvittorio, MD

After 20 yrs of a trusting doc/patient relationship for my entire family. She took the word of the new, militant office staff who lied when I had to call 4x to remind them they forgot to schedule a test for blood clot. I was fired as a patient w/ Heart disease, hx of heart attack & quadruple heart bypass surgery. Over the past 2 yrs, Dr. Joy has been irresponsibly stepping away from her practice & now only works 3 days a week. Patients are told if you can't see a PA, then you'll need to go to the Emergency Dept. I've been a patient at Holland Road Family Practice for 40 yrs and 20 with Dr. Joy when she took over for Dr. Evans. The oath of 'Do No Harm' comes into play as she clearly didn't care enough to even call me to discuss. I'm devastated with her disconnect from her patients by working Mon-Wed only. She clearly doesn't care about leaving a 20 yr patient with heart issues w/out a doctor. I would strongly recommend against going to her. Choose dedication & Integrity instead.
