The Doctor made me feel very uncomfortable. The visit lasted approximately 5-10 minutes after waiting an hour. IHad to disrobe in front of her and her nurse without being offered privacy or a gown. The procedure she performed wasn’t explained. She called it a “torch”. She dictated her observations to the nurse who typed them in the computer. She did not offer me any explanation for the procedure or any explanation of the diagnosis or wound care. I was unaware I would get blisters from the procedure and had to ask outside sources how I should take care of the open sores from the procedure. I still am unsure if these lesions are pre-cancerous and will go for a second opinion. No feedback from the message I left in My chart after I first called for follow up questions and was told by the Duly representative, I’m better off leaving the Dr. a message in My chart. I will obviously not be back.

Worst Physician Ever
I will only tell facts in this review.Joy Jester was extremely rude, incompetent, kept looking at the computer with her back towards me, accused me of causing the sores I had for a year. This was a 5 minute visit. I’m 58 years old. I worked as a Surgical Scrub Nurse for 32 years and have tons of experience with many many different Drs. Joy Jester is the unprofessional and can’t believe Duly Health Allows her to practice. It was so bad the way I was treated I had to report her behavior to Risk Management and they took action towards Joy Jester! Stay away people please.

It’s impossible to rate someone with zero stars but if I could I would. Dangerous, incompetent, and rude are the three words I would describe her with. I don’t leave reviews, until now. Treated my son with an experimental treatment she said “after the fact” never used on one’s face before we were told after the face. His face blew up like a balloon, completely deforming his face for over a week. No apologies. Follow up visit i drive 3 hours picking him up from college and back to the doctor each way… (6 hours total)since this facial problem is important to a 19 year old I did. Had car trouble/traffic leading to mothers anxiety… we were 30 minutes late. They would not see him. I begged explained and pleaded with the staff and doctor. NO… would not see him. We had no record of being late in past appointments… but NO! That is not patient care. That is just horrible human behavior. I wouldn’t send my dog to her for his rabies shots. When you have a major mishap in life and people won’t be understanding or bend and it causes you much grief. Please think of me… it’s your Karma. I might add the photos of his face, I’ll have to approve it with him. It was bad enough to visit the ER. Good thing his throat didn’t close up with your “experiment on his FACE”!

No Recommendation!
As a new patient, received notification, appointment time needs to be changed. Instead, date was over month later with new time. The date was later changed to original appt and time changed only, after I contacted in patient portal. Upon arrival of appointment, wait was extremely long. After 45 minutes name not called, advised as soon as a room was available, I will be called. It is also important scheduling get it correct when scheduling status, new appointment or existing appointment. Of course, the allotted time was 10 minutes given as an existing patient. A doctor is only as good as their staff!

Overcharges
I would not recommend the NP associated with this doctor. They will hardly spend 5 mins on your case and then overcharge you for insurance using the wrong billing codes. Avoid!!!!

I am giving her a second chance, the first time I went I asked for a full body scan and she only looked at the couple places of concern that I showed her and that I could see, she did not exam anywhere else. I have gone previously to another dermatologist who did a full body scay from head to toe but that doctor has since retired......but I will give her a second chance as I have another appt coming up. I will let you know how that goes

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.I was eager to have my appt.having never saw a dermatologist before.I waited a few months to get in for this appt.,which was fine & understandable.I came with notes of written ?'s eager to discuss.Dr. disregarded my concerns & questions, basely listened to me & went straight into trying to recommend medications. This Dr. was with me for maybe 5 min. she even entered the room without saying hi or introducing herself. Then when leaving she didn't even say bye, just walked out the room. Keep in mind she even was making her way towards the door while I was talking to insinuate she was leaving during our appt.Patients deserve better, patients deserve to work with passionate doctors who truly want to make a difference in their speciality.I even listed & mentioned my family history of skin cancer and this was not even discussed..Very very disappointed, this was a waste of time & copay. I waited for 30 minutes only for a 5 minute appt. with a dr. who didn't even want to help

How was my experience? Terrible. She gets you in and out so fast, you may not get what you went in for. Terrible bedside manner. Usually I don’t go out of my way to give bad reviews. Not sure how she has so many good ones on DMG sight.

HORRIBLE PT SERVICE! I will never schedule with her again! She is a horrible Dr.! She doesn’t take the time to help you!She told me that she didn’t have time to do a procedure that was mandatory! She ignored me when I asked questions, and talked over me! And she has the nerve not to accept Medicaid, I felt like I cramp after the way that she talked to me.My abscess drained while we were talking.. and she just handed me some sterile gauze and peroxide and had me clean myself! Very UNACCEPTABLE!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !! in Don’t waste your time, she doesn’t care!! – Mar 06, 2018
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Jester?
Will send you home with a bunch of products at once and won't tell you how or when to use any of them. If you tell her the products aren't working, she'll just pile on more products instead of changing them. More products sold equals more money. As far as I'm concerned that's all she cares about. She giggled at me when I said I hate looking at myself and all I want is to be happy with myself when i look in the mirror. Never going back again.
