I Love her! So nice, listens to you. Probably the best PC dr I’ve had!

Very impressed. She asked good questions, listened and then gave me her assessment and lots of useful information. First visit and I would highly recommend her.

She seems very knowledgeable, explains things thoroughly and will hear you out. However, after she has heard you out, she will give you a speech/lecture on what she thinks is going on and how she wants to treat you, and then basically wants to rush out of the room after that. She makes it clear that she does not have time for your questions and basically shuts down your concerns. In March, she told me my liver function tests were normal and not to worry, and then 6 months later when I'm in for my wellness visit she tells me they were abnormal and she wants to recheck them. It's inconsistent and does not make me feel safe/heard, which is not what I'd want in a primary healthcare provider. Looking elsewhere.

I love Dr. Welty. She is on time, direct, and explains things very well without belittling you. She has been very helpful in starting with the root of the issues vs. covering them up, and has even suggest some natural supplements in some of my appoints to try.

Dr Joy Welty is hands down the absolute best doctor i have ever had. She is professional, informative, experienced, very kind, I could go on! She is the epitome of what a family doctor, or any doctor for that matter, should be! I drive a little ways to get to this clinic but it is SO worth it. Also the staff and nurses here are wonderful. It has all around been the best Dr experience I have ever had.

Had an appointment for my yearly well exam. I had already requested the scheduling agent to schedule more time to be able to discuss medications that this doctor had previously prescribed me. During the exam, she reminded me that she would have to bill me for an extra visit. Fine. But she continued to rush the appointment, didn't slow down to listen, and made me feel like an inconvenience...but yet I'm being charged $230 for an extra 15-20 minutes of your time. I will not be back. Ive seen her several times within a year and every appointment is the same. $230 for a rushed 30 minute or less appointment where she doesn't listen, doesn't care to discuss, and just prescribes drugs.

I had an appointment today with joy today. She was really informative she explain things to me in a way that I understood and was patience with answering my questions
