Dr. Juan Barriga, MD

Dr. Barriga/Dr. Death is a joke of a doctor. My uncle was alert and verbal when he developed breathing issues. He developed a minor case of pneumonia, a complication from his surgery he had a few days before. Dr. Barriga took it upon himself to address my uncle while he was suffocating/alone and ask him “do you want to go to heaven? Aren’t you tired?” Then proceeds to tell my cousin that we need to let him go. What kind of treatment is that?! 5 minutes before he had the breathing issues he was talking, smiling, alert and very aware! Instead of trying to treat him, he instantly tries to convince him to give up! Come to find out, this isn’t the first time Dr Barriga has done this to other Patients/families who are still very Independent and capable of caring for themselves. Any human-being who feels like they’re suffocating would panic. That is not suffering. Dr Barriga was Constantly pushing DNR while he was very aware of his surroundings. There isn’t enough space to explain everything

Dr Barriga is great, but his staff is atrocious. They seem to struggle with both the receipt, and the submission of referrals. Apparently, their ideal customer service is self-service.
