Takes the time to explain in great details what the patient is being treated for and treatment plan associated with that diagnosis. He is also knowledgeable and very courteous, takes a lot of interest in all of his patients

My first visit at the new office and was very pleased with the staff there. Dr. Velasquez,MD has always made me feel very much cared for I know that he listens to me which makes me feel safe under his care

It was a pleasure finally meeting the Cardiologist (Juan Valesquez) today my Nephew Tyrese was referred to by his PCP, speaks so highly of & recommended that I go to if I should need one. His aura is very pleasant & welcoming its as if you have a Patient/Doctor relationship for years. The staff is commendable & I refer each by name Xiomara (Front Desk), communicated briefly with Sam (Front Desk) & the 2 lovely Medical Assistants Chris & Krethel. Dr. V. saved my life when the ICU and hospice doctors gave me less than a 4% chance to live. Not only is he a great practitioner, he is a compassionate man who knows how to listen and talk to the patient. He is not only a friend but an Angel with out wings. Always great to spent office time with Dr. V.!

Dr. Velasquez took care of my mother while she was visiting Florida and had a life-threatening cardiac emergency 3/2021. Though my mother was connected with Dr. Velasquez because he happened to be on call, he took outstanding care of her. He is an expert in his field and treated my mother with compassion and confidence. He has excellent bedside manor and took time to clearly explain everything to her while advising her of all options and risks. Being a physician myself, feeling helpless being miles away, I can honestly say that I could not have taken better care of her myself. Knowing she was in his care put me at ease. He communicated with me multiple times and I agreed fully with every step in his management plan. I have never met him but know that we are very lucky he was available when my mother needed him. I cannot thank him enough and would recommend him without hesitation.

Refused sedation on Cardio Cath for no reason adding to patient suffering., nearly killed patient on the table, covers his own tracks to evade investigation, then belittles patients and insults their intelligence. All other 8 reviews are reputation builders, part of attempt to evade the truth. If you go to FMC he maybe only cardiologist on staff, so avoid FMC. Strong Indication of Undercover inflated Ego I wish to remain anonymous in fear of retaliation.

Dr. Valasquez is an excellent Cardiologist. He is so patient, I had had 8 strokes and he listens to me no matter how long I take.

I can't say enough about Dr. Velasquez. I was diagnosed with Peripheral Artery Disease by my general practitioner. I was given the name of three interventional cardiologists who I investigated via the internet. I choose to see Dr. Velasquez and I'm extremely happy I did. He is truly an excellent physician who cares about his patients. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.
