I am an MD myself. I had to find a new PMD when my former doctor, whom I really liked, left the practice, and Dr Weinstein was my only alternative. Despite my status as a board certified fellow physician in another specialty, he behaved in a rude, uncaring and unprofessional manner. Prior to my first appointment, he canceled the Rx that were written by the former doctor, and I just found out he canceled refills he himself had written with no explanation--probably because I hadn't made an appointment with him in 6 months. This is not proper patient care by any stretch of the imagination. I am actively looking for for another doctor and can't wait to get out of there.

Unwilling to answer questions or solve problems
I went to Dr. Weinstein two times. The first time was for a physical, which lasted 12 minutes. The second appointment was a follow-up to review some concerning bloodwork. Dr. Weinstein refused to answer my simple questions, did not want to engage in a dialog to solve a hard problem, and rushed my through the appointment. Dr. Weinstein refused to provide medical guidance on how to solve my problem and insisted the problem did not exist at all. Terrible experience.

A personable, hilarious and knowledgable doctor
Dr. Weinstein is a knowledgeable primary care physician. He is always up-to-date on the latest medical research, and he takes the time to explain your condition in a way that you can understand. He also has an incredible special sense of humor which always makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Weinstein to anyone looking for a PCP.

Condescending and jokes around too much. Does not seem to actually care about your issues or do a thorough examination. Also judges you for asking for refills on your prescriptions, as if it's your fault you're taking them. Go to a real doctor, not a comedian.

Dr.Weinstein wanted to run tests that were unnecessary. He is somewhat sarcastic which is okay for me but may come off as unprofessional to some.

Dr.Weinstein took advantage of the fact that I'm uninsured to run unnecessary blood tests and when I canceled the tests, he charged me $570 for a 20 minute visit which I waited over an hour for. He clearly saw dollar signs as soon as saw that I was uninsured.
