Ignorant, Condescending
I met with Dr. Chason concerning kidney stone removal then again for ongoing urinary issues. The first visit was great, he removed the stone. I recommended him to friends. The second visit was a disaster, prompting me to write this review. His arrogance and condescending attitude was felt as soon as he entered the exam room. As I was trying to explain my reoccurring issues, I felt very uncomfortable and uneasy. Beware of choosing Dr. Chason as your physician. I’m assuming he picks and chooses who he will be gaslighting throughout the day.

Possibly the most condescending and inept doctor I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. He delivered his final instructions to me in front of his whole office staff. Like a class project. His knowledge and suggestions seem limited to chicken soup studies and his uncomfortability with the physical exam was embarrassing. His suggestions on managing my condition were nonsensical for someone with an active lifestyle.

Dr. Chasen has that unique ability to develop almost instant rapport with a patient, namely me. Dr. Chasen will not only discuss medical related issues with a patient, but discuss other matters in a persons life, of course within reason. This I find very rare in the medical world and totally refreshing. I would not for one minute hesitate recommending Dr. Chasen not only as a competent medical practitioner, but also as a friend.

Dr. Chason made me feel very comfortable with my visit. He was very knowledgable about my condition and took all the time I needed to answer all of my questions in a way I could understand. He is friendly and really seems to understand my concerns and needs. After three visits and three otherwise uncomfortable procedures, I left his office very happy with him, his expertise, bedside manner and the outcome of the procedures. I would highly recommend him and his practice.

Dr. Chason accurately diagnosed my son's urethra stricture and then sent him to an excellent surgeon in Norfolk, VA. It's been 3 years since the surgery and he's doing excellent and I'm thankful that we were led to him. There are so many cases where the outcome is not so good. Highly recommend him.
