Insensitive and Incompetent
I saw this doctor for follow up care and monitoring of precancerous cervical cells. The doctor asked me zero questions before starting a cervical exam with speculums that caused intense pain due to preexisting conditions and a sexual assault history that would have been in a chart review. Which she clearly did not do. It was supposed to be a new patient appointment and she asked me absolutely nothing about my medical history or what my concerns were. She did the exam (poorly) and left me alone in the exam room on the verge on passing out. She made rude comments about me not yet having children and that that was the cause of my pain from the exam. She was insensitive and rude. I would not trust her with a flu, much less my care of potential cancer.

Dr. Bowers is very conservative and listens to my concerns. She has excellent stitching skills and I healed perfectly from giving birth. She is very direct which doesn't work for everyone, but I appreciate it.
