Dr. Judith Mondry-Berk, MD

Been seeing Dr. B for years. She's a loyal, genuine person who really knows her stuff. She wants to help people live better lives and be better overall. No one in the medical field does dream analysis, but she does, and it's helped me put some really valuable things into perspective. I always appreciate that she goes beyond just prescribing meds and actually takes the time to talk. It's a lost art in medicine, and she nails it. Highly recommend!

Have been a patient of Dr. Berk for over a decade. Great listener, thoughtful application of med knowledge.

I simply cannot say enough positive things about Dr Berk and my experience as a patient of hers over the past several years. Dr Berk truly cares about her patients and takes an active interest in their lives and their well-being.As another review mentioned, Dr Berks practice has a true concierge feeling - as her assistant Verna is always available for questions, appointment scheduling, and friendly reminders to schedule a follow-up. Verna is a true lifesaver at times, and being able to text with her in real time has been immensely helpful. Highly recommend Dr Berk to anyone looking for a best in class experience with their healthcare provider!

Dr. Berk is the first psychiatrist to actually care about my life on a whole. Other MDs who have managed my medications only seemed to care about whether they work or not. Dr. Berk spends time listening to my life on a whole. Additionally, I can schedule most of my appointments by text with her assistant, Verna. Verna has answered texts at all times of day and the weekend. It really is unusual to have such an open line of communication with a doctor's office, let alone the doctor. Despite cultural differences, I also feel very connected to and supported by Dr. Berk (to me not common with psychiatrists). She is an absolute star. I would unapologetically recommend Dr. Berk to those who want to be more than just a prescription.

Dr. Mondry is ONE OF A KIND. After I lost my mother, I fell into a deep depression and I was severely struggling. Dr. Mondry didn't just prescribe me meds and send me on my way, she spent countless hours with me, really listening and got me through it. I even called her out of the blue once when I didn't have an appointment and she called me back and spent almost 45 minutes on the phone with me for free. She never rushed me out the door, even though I knew she had a packed schedule. She made sure I was okay, and I can't thank her enough for that... For all the people moaning about how she's late.... Sure, she might run a little late sometimes, but that's only because she's giving every patient the attention they need. And when it's your turn, she'll give you that same care and dedication! This doctor is a gem and I feel so beyond fortunate to have been her patient.

Got an appointment relatively quickly--and after meeting with her, I can see why. I was diligent in filling out all the forms sent to me, which she never even looked at before our meeting. She was late and unprepared, and when we did get going, the conversations were awkward. She seems more like a grouchy grandma than she does a professional psychiatrist, and did nothing to help my problems. Additionally, she said she would follow up to get a medical release for some information, but never followed through. Happy to take my money (double charged for some reason?), but did not do her job! Would highly recommend avoiding her.

if i could leave no stars i would... my last appointment she didn't show up for!!!! i have been calling non stop to get a new appointment and a refill and no one has called back-- she should NOT have a license to practice

Dr Berk regularly contradicted herself, belittled me and my feelings, forgot key reasons for my visit and seemed generally unsympathetic to my situation. I left my appointments astonished that a medical professional could behave in such a manner. I was even more shocked to encounter a mental health professional who seemed content to disparage a patient she barely knew. She has little concern for her patients outside of rebooking them for refills.

The worst doctor I have ever seen. I was a patient for about six months and am now having to find a new doctor who is competent. Repeatedly asks the same question, forgetting your answer from 5 minutes prior. Does not know what medications she has prescribed, does not know anything about you without referring to her old notes. Pays no attention to patients. I will do everything I can to never have to see this doctor again.

She asks incisive questions to address your primary reason for seeking medication as part of your treatment plan. She is attentive to personal and family medical history to best recommend a medication. I can tell she truly cares and wants to help. The office staff is very courteous and has been super on the ball with any paperwork needs. She makes it clear she is a psychiatrist and it is crucial to additionally seek more intensive talk therapy from a therapist as part of your treatment plan.

After 80pgs of Psychiatrists my ins gave me, I finally found the Dr. for me in Dr Mondry. The manager bends over backwards to make stuff work for you-& Dr. Will let you have as much time as you need with her &has helped me through a lot of stuff. &I continue to go to her though I've moved to the IE & no longer am in netwrk. I can't go through that 80pg process over again. It's too much. You may find yourself waiting a while,& wishing the jazz music wasn't on- but find some earbuds& GET OVER it.

Outrageously rude and arrogant but I overlooked it. But then OVER HALFWAY through the 3rd time I saw her, she said "I'm sorry, what's your name again? Oh, I have the wrong chart. I thought you were...." Absolutely ruined my positive feeling about seeking psychiatric help in general. A nasty and unpleasant experience.
