Disrespectful and rude
She was rushed. She got up 3 times to leave the room. I had to explain I was not done telling her what my issues are. She did not exam me, did not even listen to my chest, breathing or anything. I felt completely disrespected.

Great Doctor
I have been coming to Dr Pickett for over 15 yrs. I have had nothing but the best experiences and interactions with her. She listens to my concerns and she is not a 'pill pusher'. She asks questions to get to the root of the problem. She even allows my husband to join the visits and asks questions. I am actually sadden to see so many negative reviews about her. Although everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinions, I thank God that I've only had positive experiences with her, that's why I've been a patient of hers for so long.

Careless Doctor
Reasons she is a horrible doctor.1) she doesn’t review your chart before appointment so she doesn’t know who you are or your health condition and you have to repeat yourself because she doesn’t listen. 2) No empathy for patients with chronic pain. 3) speaks to you condescending and rudely. 4) this office doesn’t answer or return calls at all. 5) she lies in your medical chart and states she went over several things during appointment but did not at all. In conclusion, whatever you do, do not go to this doctor.

A disappointed patient. – Jun 19, 2023

Almost made my condition worse!
I came in for joint pain and even after me thoroughly explaining my ailments, she completely dismissed my concerns and even told me verbatim to “refrain from coming in unless the matter was more serious”, so I guess she concluded that my pain wasn’t serious or adequate enough. I made an appointment with another doctor two weeks later and come to find out, I’m pre-arthritic. If I had stuck with Dr.Pickett and took her assessment at face value, my condition could’ve ended up even worse than what it is now due to her carelessness. She’s a purely incompetent, dismissive, and negligent excuse of a doctor. It’s like she has no regard for the fact that she has other people’s lives in her hand. Just disgusting and repulsive, I’d give her 0/5 stars if I could.

Bad bed side manner
She was rude unprofessional and going in and out of my room the first visit to answer a personal phone call the follow up visit she had no idea why I was back she did not open my chart to look at the notes she just was looking at me crazy the patient before me I could hear her talk to nice and pleasant to him but came in my room all of 2 to 5 minutes and was clueless then she left rudely and had her nurse come give me sample medication then sends my prescription to the pharmacy that costs me 1,200 had she opened my chart she could see my insurance doesn’t cover that and subscribe me a suitable medication but she was in a rush to get out of my room I would never go back or recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Pickett is a terrible representation of what a Doctor should be and is not recommended, at all. Her bedside manner is very careless: she makes it clear you are bothering her, when she replies to your concerns with her very thoughtless remarks that have no solution to problems presented. She comes into the examining room with a very bad attitude, slamming her laptop on the desk as if it weighs a ton, sighing as if you are bothering her day with your appointment. She does not show any ounce of caring for your health as a patient and does not treat you like a human being. She is also, disruptive and dismissive and does not look at you. Above all, you can never reach her staff, (much less a courteous and respectful staff member), to make appointment or express immediate concerns that come up randomly. It is disturbing how she continues to have her medical license.

She was very rude she had no concern about my wellbeing. I told her what was wrong with me and she asked me why are you here like the reason wasn't good enough for her. She suggested that i was depressed and she can give me medication for that but not what i came in the office for. She even told me I should leave my job. SHE SHOULD LEAVE HER JOB Thank GOD for urgent care Will be changing doctor

The worst I have ever been to! I understand dry personality but she is more than dry! She is rude and condescending and doesn’t do her job well. It must be the white jacket she needs to give back. Will order more labs than needed every time. Her staff will then lose those orders and make you come back a second time to draw blood just to never send the results out. Again, I’m not sure why her nose is in the air. She’s at the bottom of her peers. Switched PCPs after 2 visits of unprofessional and callous behavior.

She had no bedside manners at all, and she was extremely rude. She seemed prejudice against me and even told me that the concerns I voiced regarding my health were a result of “cultural phenomenon” (I am Latina) and not valid. She does not care about her patients and I am switching PCPs soon.

Hardly ever in the office and reschedules appointments frequently, so she’s very inflexible. When you actually are able to see her, she will spend the entirety of the appointment being rude, nasty, and condescending as opposed to showing genuine concern or care. Just find a different doc, she’s not worth it.

She took a very callous and apathetic approach during each of my appointments with her. She acted as if she didn’t want to be bothered with me and/or had better things to be doing. On top of that she was extremely rude and disrespectful to me. I switched physicians shortly after my last appointment with her.

Dr. Pickett is always diligent about getting to the root of my medical concern. She asks very pointed questions to understand better. I can always count on her to do a great job. She also sets up my referrals right away for anything I may need in the year (i.e. mammogram, derm., colon screening, etc). I appreciate her breadth of service. She is part of the Fransciscan network which takes a bit of time to get the message back if you call in. But now with MyChart, we can send in email to our docs and receive an answer much quicker. Can also schedule and see test results. Very convenient!

Super doc! I love Dr. Pickett's methodology. She listens intently, takes notes then thoughtfully goes to the root of the problem. I can always count on her to solve my medical issues. And we always review what is needed for the year to come for my well-check . I send my whole family to her care and trust her implicitly. There is a bit of process to get through to her directly since she is part of the Franciscan network so messages go second party and takes about 24 hours to get a non-emergency response.

She was so rude the last time I went. I asked her for an allergy shot and she said “why” then I proceeded to tell her I was allergic to my dog and she said “then why do you have a dog”. She also seemed like she was too busy to pay attention to my needs, she acted as if she had better things to do during my appointment.

They never call you back. I have called and left several messages. Both times I had blood work done, I had to call myself (to the lab) to get my results. Not caring at all.

When I need to contact my doctor I expect to be able to talk to one of the staff asap. To have any questions I need answered and not have to wait days for a response. I've never in my life dealt with such bs as I do with this place. I'm sick of never getting through to anyone, always having to leave a voicemail and praying I'll get a returned call before they close for the day but by then it's usually too late! I'm switching doctor's asap. This is unacceptable

It is impossible to get a hold of her. No matter how urgent, it can be DAYS before she returns my call. Also, she doesn't listen. I had a sinus infection for FOUR weeks because she TWICE prescribed an antibiotic that doesn't work for me. I TOLD her this and begged for something else. When it failed, she REFILLED it! Cost me two senseless weeks of misery. Then she prescribed something the FDA doesn't approve for sinus infection anymore! She is the worse doctor I have ever had.
