Dr Tolhurst is a very knowledgeable and compassionate Dr. In my over 20 years as a patient in the Department of Mental Health she has given me quality and professional care. I have not had good care while in Mental Health Care. She is retiring and pray her replacement will be a good match.

Awful. She was brusque and condescending, with zero bedside manner. In the middle of one of our discussions as I was telling her how I felt about something, she interrupted me and said condescendingly, "you're aware other people have problems too, right?" Well yeah, but I thought I was here to talk about mine. I was later diagnosed with PTSD, turns out she was absolutely awful for dealing with someone who has experienced some kind of trauma.
