I have always had a good experience with Dr. VanSickle and prefer her to all of the other nephrology staff. We have considered moving but we won't because of the care he receives from her and her staff.

Dr. VanSickle knows her stuff but she is also very personable. She knows my child’s history and shared in the joy of her getting better!

I don't trust anyone else with my kids and the staff is the best around. Thank you so much much.

We waited an hour an a half before she arrived for our appointment. She was very abrupt and short with our daughter, who is newly diagnosed with a kidney problem and terrified. My daughter left the building in tears. I don't know how good of a doctor she is, because there is no way my daughter could tolerate that treatment going forward, but we can say that she is NOT a "people person". This is particularly sad in a pediatric specialty.

She was very cold and dismissive of me and my husband's concerns about our son. She seemed more concerned with making sure she had time to have her lunch break, rather than answer our questions about our son's kidney disease. After 10 minutes in our visit, she said she had to go, even though we had many more questions. She told us to look it up on Google, or to ask the emergency room physician if we had to bring him in later. She was horribly mean to our son as well.
