Thorough and Informative
I visited Dr. Cheng for an annual dermatology exam. Her office and room tech were friendly and efficient. Dr. Cheng performed a thorough skin exam, in the same manner as other dermatologists I’ve seen. She answered all of my questions accurately and honestly. I wanted to find out more about the cost of a procedure, and the office quickly followed up with me with a price. I’m glad I chose this office and that Dr. Cheng is my trusted dermatologist!

Dr was nice, but appt was confusing and rushed
I called in to make an appointment to check my moles. Staff on the phone asked me if it'd be a whole body baseline (I have a lot of moles and wanted to get the go-ahead that they were okay), and that's what i wanted so i said yes. The appointment itself with Dr. Cheng lasted exactly 3 minutes, with her and her staff saying they only had time to check 3 moles so to 'prioritize' which ones i wanted her to check. After she left, i asked the staff what i had to do to get a proper baseline, and they said their mole appointments were per mole...that if i wanted to do more i'd need to book several appointments, but also that 'it's not common for patients to book multiple sessions back to back in the same day' cuz i asked if i could just book a block of time. so they expected me to come back for a singular appt on multiple days. They charged me $120 for the visit. Dr. Cheng was fine, but i would not go back to this location/affiliated hospital for their scheduling practices.

I went to her office for the acne in March. She just talked to me for a few minutes and looked at my face without a mask for 20 seconds. She even didn't give me any other checks and tests but charged me about 300 dollars. When I was in her office, nobody discussed the price with me, I received the bill after I went back home. On the billing, it says I received the service 45-59 minutes. I complained about the bill, they said they didn't charge based on the time, and the amount is reasonable! However, the second time they sent me a new bill that has the same amount of money but doesn't have the 45-59 minutes information anymore. It's really expensive for such a simple and ineffective visit! This is a very frustrating experience for me.
