1st time we saw her, she was unable to give any kind of diagnosis due to the infection starting to clear. Took a sample. Said to avoid this problem in the future, come in immediately if it ever came back. She said, 'we're good like that. Even if we can't fit you in, at least we can take a sample'. We left feeling that she was nice and very accommodating. However, the infection came back and we went in. She refused to see us. She simply sent a message to first the front desk administration and then she sent her nurses when I asked to see a clinic manager. Said she would never say to come right in, even though both myself and my 17 year old son heard just that. Really bad experience. My son was a NICU baby, and we have had amazing experiences at CHKD since his birth. It's a real shame that Dr. Burden is now part of such an esteemed group.
