Practically zero waiting time. Pleasant and charming doctor. Receptionist very friendly. I am very happy with my care and condition thanks to Dr Irwin.

I see Donna Bowers PA for treatment and drug management. She listens and is willing to try new meds as needed. She makes herself available to me when needed. The office staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.

Dr. Irwin has been critical in the management of my mental health. She takes time to explain why certain medications may work vs potential side effects that eliminate others. I recommend her to everyone in need of sincere care.

Appointments are always on time. very little weight time. Staff is nice. She listens, she offers suggestions and she lets you know how to do better. I've been seeing her for a long time mostly for medication management. Professional, direct and caring.

After my wife was given no hope (for psychosis) by 5 different psychiatrist and 5 different hospitals stays at one month in each one, my wifes primary care doctor recommended Dr. Julia Irwin in Norman, OK. Dr. Irwin was the only psychiatrist that gave us hope for my wife's recovery. In a matter of one week Dr. Irwin had my wifes condition very stable, and within two weeks she was back to normal, and has been normal going on one year + . I will tell others who are suffering this, you will not find a better psychiatrist in the Norman or Oklahoma City metro area than Dr. Julia Irwin. We give her an A+ in every category.

If you're looking for someone who is warm and empathetic, Dr. Irwin is not the doctor for you. I have been going to her for more than ten years primarily for medication management. Even that has become problematic. The main reason I keep going back is that I don't want to have to get used to a new doctor. If you prefer brusque, matter-of-fact doctors, Dr. Irwin may be right for you.Office staff has always been responsive and cooperative. Wait times are short, sometimes 2-3 minutes, rarely more than 10 minutes, even though I almost always arrive early.

Dr. Irwin is a great and thorough doctor. My wait time was minimal and the office staff is very professional.

For years, I've put up with the sour, scowling front desk staff, in order to see Donna Bowers, but today I had the pleasure of encountering office manager, Teresa. I have been dealing with constant pelvic pain for 7 months. Today it is so bad I can barely move. I called to reschedule and was told it was a $50 cancellation fee. I know I can't make it. I ask that Donna call me and was told the doctors don't call. I know she doesn't have anyone there at 10:40 because if you fill the appointment, then you have no reason to charge me $50. Could you have her call me then? By this time, I’m bawling, clearly in distress. Keep in mind that these are supposed to be mental health professionals. I told her you deal with emotionally fragile people. How are you going to feel if you do this to someone else, and they take it even harder than I am? She said that’s why we have you come in. I said I’m not able to. She said this conversation is done and she hung up on me.

Tried 3 different medications that did not work. Never even saw the Dr. The PA only prescribed what they get paid for. No confidence in their office. They don't care. Not good for someone with depression

I have used Dr. Irwin/Donna Bowers for several years. I never wait more than 5 or 10 mins for my appt, and I am always treated with respect by all staff members. Initially, we could not figure out the right medication for my MDD, then Donna suggested the GeneSight test, and it showed which meds work best with my genetics. Based on the GeneSight results, I was put on the right meds, and have not had a depressive episode since then. That was at least 3 or 4 years ago. I'm very thankful for the help I have received by this clinic and the entire staff. Highly recommend.

I have to say Nicole is a good provider. The office manager ruins the whole psychiatry experience. It makes you want to never go back. I was told this prior to referral. They were right.

Dr Irwin will gladly take your $300 for an exam but she does not know the rules And regulations used by VA, and the VA representative that ‘advises her’ does not understand the regulations required by VA for a clear and concise exam for rating purposes. If you ask for a clarification for her exam to prevent you from having to attend another VA exam she will refuse. She will have her secretary reach out to you to tell you she will not provide additional information needed by the VA to rate your claim. Save your money, this doctor is a shyster. $300 for 15 minutes and she does not even give a complete, concise exam.

As a partner to one of Dr. Irwin' s patients I have to say she us absolutely wonderful.

I have been seeing Dr Irwin for 10 yrs. She is always available. Over the years she has become someone I trust. I trust her judgement. She has saved my life.

Dr Irwin has taking care of me for almost 20 years. She is very compassionate about what she does and about her patients she will fight tooth and nail for them. I've always felt safe in her care and she has rescued me in a few times quite a few actually. If you're looking for a psychiatrist she's the best.

Dr Irwin’s practice is outstanding! The best mental health clinic in Norman and one of the best in the OKC metro. I have known Dr Irwin’s nurse practioner, Nicole, for many years, since she was a psych RN, and she’s an outstanding provider and person. She’s knowledgeable, compassionate, has a big heart, and really cares deeply about her patients. Although she’s not technically a therapist, she’s really helped me over the years through the good and bad in my life. She’s a great listener, offers great guidance, and really cares. I wouldn’t be where I’m at today if it wasn’t for her. I would entrust my health and life to her any time. She’s an outstanding provider. I highly recommend Nicole and Dr Irwin’s practice. I also saw Dr Koch, psychologist, when he was at OUHSC, and he’s an outstanding therapist and really helped me a lot during some difficult times in my life.
