An amazing doctor and a kind person
Its way past time for me to leave this review. Dr Padgett and her team helped me in spring of 23. My basal cell carcinoma was advanced and almost to the bone. When someone is cutting away part of your nose and cheek, that kindness MATTERS. Her team were so affirming, so skilled, so kind. My heart still wells with gratitude for their skills - and humanity. Im so grateful to this amazing team.

The Best!
Dr. Julia Padgett and her staff provided exceptional service before, during, and after my Mohs surgery. Her compassionate bedside manner, poise, significant surgical experience, and calm reassurance when answering my questions gave me total confidence during an otherwise scary time. I’m grateful that Dr. Padgett performed my surgery with skill and ease. Honestly, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else after Dr. Padgett! Thank you, DAV!

I just had Mohs surgery this week with Dr. Padgett, so I'm still healing, but I enjoyed my time with Dr. Padgett. She was very kind, caring told me how she loves every part of her job, and you could tell. I would gladly recommend her to anyone that needs Mohs.

Dr. Padgett and her team performed my second MOHS procedure. A different surgeon did the first one years ago; and it was much different. Dr. Padgett is fantastic!! I can happily recommend Dr. Padgett if you need MOHS surgery as someone you should strongly consider. As a sidebar: I want to also give kudos to the Dermatology of Virginia Midlothian office team. They always treat you...and make you feel... like family; and it can’t get any better than that.

Five stars are about 3,000 short of what she gets in my review. I'm an old scardy-cat when it comes to needles and somebody messin' around my eyes, but today's procedure was effortless for her and her wonderful staff, and (almost) pleasant for me. The whole crew, from the schedulers to the front desk to nurses and Dr. Padgett deserve massive kudos

Dr. Padgett performed surgery on me, taking off a melanoma in situ. She was very professional, thorough, and explained everything in detail and always made sure that I understood what was happening. I would not hesitate about returning to her if additional work needed to be done.

I first saw Dr. Padgett at UVA where she remove Basal Cell from the bridge of my nose. Perfect! No scar. When she was with Bon Secours in Richmond, she removed basal cell from under my nose. (A result of childhood in Sunny Florida before sunscreens). She is professional and a Mohs surgeon. I wouldn’t trust my face to anyone else!!! The best. And ignore the reviews about the front desk...she is no longer at that office. Besides, most doctors don’t have a clue about the insensitive treatment given by their front reception desk.

Absolutely, grade A++ Dr., nurses and office staff!! Had a melanoma removed and Mohs surgery and Dr. Padgett couldn't have made me feel more relaxed and confident about the procedure. She cares first and foremost about making sure she does a thorough job with the cancer, yet also puts so much thought about what will remain (scarring). I could not have been more pleased anywhere else. You will not be disappointed if you choose Dr. Padgett :)

Dr. Padgett and her staff are the absolute best. I would highly reccomend anyone needing Moh's surgery. I was in good hands, her and her staff were over the top! The doctor and staff are kind and compassionate and thoroughly explained everything as they went. The procedure was painless and her stitch work was meticulous.

Even with the recent reviews I went ahead and tried to make appt with the doctor and agree the scheduler is brash and instead of listening just wanted my insurance information; after providing everything I am told I wouldn't be seen by the doctor!? Doctor only does surgery....

I have had Moh's surgery done by another area surgeon 4 times. This was my first experience with Dr. Padgett and it was awesome. Never have had such a compassionate doctor as well as nurse. They made sure I was as comfortable and informed as possible. She is thorough, gentle and caring. I am so grateful to have found her.

She is such a caring and wonderful doctor. Gives you all the time you need, answers all the questions you have. Very intelligent and knows the latest treatments. We moved about 8 hours away and I considered driving to her for a procedure. One of the best doctors I've been too.

I can't say enough about my FANTASTIC experience with Dr. Padgett, Colleen and April. From the moment I waked in until I was discharged I felt important and like family. I've had several skin cancer surgeries with another doctor but none of those experiences were like this one. I HIGHLY recommend you put Dr. Julia Padgett's phone number in your phone in case you ever need a skin cancer surgeon.

Dr. Padgett and her staff have treated our 98 year-old Grandfather for over a year. Her skill level, ability to explain the procedure and her follow-up for his skin cancer was wonderful. She has a great, calming presence, listens to her patience and has made all of the right decisions in his overall health! He loves her and her staff.
