Dr. Julian Berrocal, MD

My wife had a lumpectomy performed by Dr. Berrocal (then still in Lake Worth) followed by radiation the beginning of 2021. A year later she noticed a small bump about 2” from the surgery site which Dr. Berrocal assumed her was scar tissue. Three and six months later same thing, “just scar tissue”. The next appointment she told him there was another bump and she wanted them removed, again Dr. Berrocal said it was scar tissue, very common. Now a year later she told him if he didn’t remove the two bumps she was going somewhere else. He again insisted it was just scar tissue and would have to biopsy it. He said “Not good, it’s mushy.” A few days later the nurse called and said sorry, it’s cancerous and you will need a mastectomy and “Did Dr. Berrocal tell you he’s leaving the practice in two weeks?”Never another word from him, he tucked his tail between his legs and went to Jupiter. No damage control, nothing. That’s the real Dr. Berrocal.

Dr Berracol and team gave me great care. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. His PA was wonderful as well. They truly listened, explained everything extremely well and asks several times if I had anymore questions. Would absolutely recommend this team!

This is the way all Doctors offices should be, caring, genuinely concerned, excellent listening skills, unending support and an overwhelming feeling that you as the patient, are in very good, safe hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Berrocal to everyone. I am very grateful and was very lucky to have found him.
