Dr. Ducharme is an excellent doctor. She takes the time to listen and does not rush you. She is one of the best doctors that I have been to for thyroid issues. She has a great bedside manner and I have recommended her to others. The office staff is very friendly, as well. It is nice to have a doctor that you are comfortable with and that really listens.

The level of care is subpar. While I initially saw Dr. Ducharme, I was later relegated to a nurse practitioner who discussed my condition with a family member, who is also a patient, without my permission, Dr. Ducharme asked me who was monitoring my diabetes, when I thought she was. My PTH level is twice what it should be and my blood calcium continues to rise from a parathyroid tumor. Even so, this provider dismisses my symptoms and regularly reschedules appointments made months in advance.
