Horrible Doctor
This women has no business being a doctor let alone in obstetrics! She is very cold, dismissive, aggressive and rude.

Beware, I was incorrectly billed and no one cares
For six months my wife tried to get someone, anyone in this office to care about the large bill they incorrectly sent me and I refused to pay (they had promised to check with me before running an expensive blood test; they never did and billed me anyway). She spent hours getting passed around on the phone, no one could tell her who the right person was to talk to, they just took messages and promised to look into it but did nothing. Finally someone at the office said she would take care of it and we thought it was finally over. Instead, I received a letter today that they had sent my bill to collections so now I have to deal with that and hoping they don’t wreck my credit over their error. My wife likes Dr. Gonzalez but this is an awful way to treat patients.

She has bad bedside manner. I didn’t find her to be compassionate, and it didn’t seem like she took what I said seriously... She hands you pamphlets instead of explaining things, then rushes the appt. I’m switching to another provider.

Dr. Gonzalez showed little concern for the issues I was having. It was my first time at “all about women” and I had explained to the doctor I had PCOS and was put on birth control years earlier. I’m now 33 and explained I wanted to go off. All she said was if it’s making me feel better stay on it if I’m not trying to conceive. I also told her I had terrible night sweats. No blood work was recommended. In turn I had to see another doctor who ran blood work and turns out I’m in early menopause because of the birth control or we are not 100% sure why yet (TBD).also have low iron and b12 probably because of birth control. I will never see her again because she disregarded my problems and compromised my fertility.

I'm surprised by the negative comments as our experience with her was the opposite. I had a miscarriage and she was very caring and thorough. She would not let us leave until we asked all of our questions and she followed up with us on her day off. I'm glad we found her.

First visit with her she had us waiting for two hours after we had a sonogram with an unviable pregnancy. She was extremely uncaring and dismissive. Second visit she did not care to hear my health concerns and failed to read my record about abnormal thyroid levels. Third and hopefully last visit with her, I am having preterm labor at 35 weeks she acted just like when we lost our first baby, dismissive, uncaring and neglectful of our health.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a gyn yet. She did not take my say, my opinion, or my past experience with bad menstraual cycles into mind into when making a decision about my healthcare. Maybe she prescribes whatever she wants for her other patients but that’s not okay with me. The only good thing I can say about her is she is good about following up with you. However I definitely will be finding another doctor.

Being newly pregnant, I decided to switch doctors and found great reviews for Dr Gonzalez and the All About Women practice in Garden City. They have been extremely understanding, informative and caring being that I was a new patient, going away on my honeymoon and they really took time out of their day to run tests, answer questions etc. I didn't even officially have my first prenatal visit, but the care and concern the receptionists, nurses, and doctors have are to be admired.
