Julie did my transplant in 2019. She did a magnificent job. Everything went perfectly. What impressed me the most is that she pushed my wheelchair to the OR for the surgery. What surgeon does that?

The best
Excellent service with Dr. Heimbach. She and her team saved my husband’s life. He had cancer but we had 8 great years before he passed. Years of travel, laughs and fun that I am extremely thankful for. The last few years our followups were via email instead of flying back to Mayo so I never got to say thank you. So Dr. Heimbach, thank you!

Dr. Heimbach is absolutely the best when it comes to liver transplant and liver donation. I donated part of my liver to my husband last July. Dr. Heimbach and the entire liver team took amazing care of us despite some very serious bumps in the road. Dr. Heimbach is caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. Despite serious complications that my husband endured (no fault of Dr. Heimbach), I never once doubted that he was in the very best hands and that we were at the very best place in the world for PSC patients. I highly highly recommend!!

Dr. Heimbach saved my life. She is highly skilled and has tremendous perseverance in the face of challenges others may deem too difficult to accept. She did not give up on me and did an outstanding job with my double transplant. I will be forever grateful.
