Not all heroes wear capes. Dr Lange removed a lump from my breast while I was 34 weeks pregnant. After my requests for the use of local instead of general anesthesia during the surgery were denied by a different surgeon at my local hospital, I met with Dr. Lange at JH and she agreed to do the procedure under local anesthesia. I was no longer forced to decide between my own well-being and the safety of my unborn child. The procedure was 100% smooth and painless. Dr. Lange’s calm professionalism gave me complete confidence. And at an incredibly stressful time when I had so little control over my body, I felt incredibly empowered.
