I saw Dr. Lavinder at Louisville Urgent Care for a tonsil stone and possible tonsillitis/strep. The tonsil stone was visible just by shining a light in my mouth. After having two tongue depressors in my mouth at once, along with a light, she claimed that she couldn't see the tonsil stone. She gave me an oral steroid for the pain and prescribed me antibiotics, even though she said I didn't have strep. Which, by the way, she never administered a strep test and there is no way you can tell if someone has strep just by looking. Had she "seen" my tonsil stone, she could have removed it for me and save me a lot of pain and discomfort. This visit was a waste of my time. I'm hoping that gargling warm salt water and taking the antibiotics will help get rid of it.

Always has expressions on her face that makes it seem she doesn’t believe what you are saying. My daughter jammed her thumb and Lavender didn’t even x-ray it. Just wrapped it and sent us away. A week later went because her thumb still hurt a lot. Lavender REFUSED to see her. Went to another clinic, her thumb was BROKEN! Poor bedside manner
