Dr. Julie Lorton, MD

The Walgreens pharmacy tries to contact Dr. Lorton to request a prescription refill for my thyroid a day before my medication ends. I went to the pharmacy to pick up the medication, and they reported that they contacted the doctor, but they never contacted them. I lost my dose one day because of the carelessness of this office and Dr. Lorton. Then, after a few days, I contacted the office, and one of the supervisors said I was supposed to call them to have the refill, but the pharmacist contacted them. I don't understand it; in other words, it is my fault. I'm very disappointed. I will reschedule my next visit with my primary doctor, and I look forward to seeing a professional endocrinologist.

Cares about you. Calls you back after hours. Reassuring, wicked smart and knowledgeable and kind.

I have been seeing dr Lorton for my thyroid issue for many years. She is smart and has a great bedside manner. Highly recommmend.

I had the best experience with Dr. Lorton. She spent so much time with me and was interested in hearing everything that I had to say. Took thorough notes and then when she examined me, she addressed every concern I had. I am so grateful to have found her. Looking forward to having her as my new doctor.

When I visited this doctor she gave me the worst case scenario before reviewing and of my previous reports. She basically follows the conventional playbook and doesn’t think outside of the box and tries to diagnose you as an individual . I basically did not return after my initial visits.

Dr. Lorton was amazing. She treated me like I was her only patient. She didn’t rush me through, asked me every question possible to assure we were covering every area possible to figure out the cause of my issue. I had been to other doctors for same issue and she asked questions no other doctor had, to help figure it out. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Lorton was absolutely AMAZING. This was my very first visit to the office (and an endocrinologist in general) and Dr. Lorton put me so at ease. She took the time to explain my condition, treatment plan, and answer any and all questions I had. Coming from a previous Dr. who had no clue how to interact with a patient, Dr. Lorton was a breath of fresh air. I felt so encouraged leaving the office, and I only hope more people are able to find a caring, wonderful doctor like Dr. Lorton.
