Happy with my new primary care
Saw Dr. Macphee for the first time at my mom's appointment. She listened well and made me us comfortable.

All about charging for an office visit.
After receiving negative results less than 24 hours later from a chest X-ray, she refuse to write a prescription for me to receive medicine without an examination. Granted Dr. MacPhee wrote the x-ray order during my annual check-up in Dec. 22 just as a precaution because of issues experienced earlier in the year. I had no issues in Dec, which is why no prescription for meds were written then. I finally got the chance to go have the xray done after leaving work early ill (started a new job Jan '23 and two deaths in my family since then), and found the xray shows specific issue . The nurse, Kristen, who is very insensitive, finally called me back after I made 3 calls to their office to inquire about medication due to difficulties and the results of my xray only to be told to go i should see specialist as new patient. It's never easy to get quick appointment as a new patient, SO she leaves me to suffer until I can be seen. Very disappointing medical professionals can be so heartless.

Dr. MacPhee focuses on labs as the only factor when treating her patients. If you’re looking for a doctor that will listen, consider how you’re feeling, factor in labs and discuss options... she is NOT the doctor for you.

Dr. McPhee listens well, and explains clearly her thought processes with me. I like that she doesn't jump to a medication as a quick fix, but is interested in getting to the bottom of symptoms, and exploring all care and treatment options. (Yet she will prescribe meds when it is helpful.) Reading the other positive reviews, it sounds like others have had a similar experience.

The nurses have been for the most part insensitive..... thr doctor herself is nice.... however.... is quick to say just go see an urgent care... even when begging with them.for an alternative..... since i cant afford too mamu repeated hospital visits and urgent cares.... she offered no alternative. She seems to be unable to offer any over the phone help like a knowledgeable doctor would or could. Im very disappointed in them.

She is nice but I would have liked more information on the treatment for family related diseases. I had a heart attack that I feel could have been prevented if I was given information from my doctor on preventative measures. Especially when I noted that heart disease ran in my family.
