Clear, efficient, and thoughful
I recently had a colonoscopy/endoscopy at Rose Medical Center. Everything went smoothly and pleasantly, although the critical part of the procedure was the part I have no memory of. I guess that indicates that the sedation was well managed also. Both Rose Medical and Dr. Polson followed up the next day. Except for the delay in getting started (but not so long as to be any trouble) the entire procedure was flawless.

Excellent
Dr.Polson has been treating me for a few years, and I highly recommend her as a very professional and knowledgeable Gastroenterologist. Dr.Polson is very caring and empathetic and has an excellent bedside manner. Dr. Polson has performed a few Endoscopy & Colonoscopy procedures for me over the years and I feel very comfortable and safe in her hands and trust her very much. Very thankful for the last procedure we did 7th Nov 2023. I would rate my overall experience as 10 out of 10! Kind regards, Iryna Sytnikova (a.k.a. Irina SITNIKOFF) .

Pleasant, thorough & competent.
Dr. Polson is pleasant, thorough & competent. I didn't feel rushed during her intake interview with me. She performed an endoscopy and was able to diagnose my condition. A treatment plan was put into place. Dr. Polson's assistant returns phone calls in a timely manner and is also very pleasant. Setting the initial appointment with the front desk took a little effort and perseverance.

Unresponsive/bad communication
No one followed up with me after my endoscopy/colonoscopy despite multiple attempts to contact the doctor with questions for almost 3 weeks. I left multiple voicemails which I was told were not received. When I finally did get in touch with Dr. Polson through the online messaging she was rude responding “WOW….” And did not seem to empathize at all that I had been waiting on test results and to speak to her for weeks. After weeks of feeling like my health was not a priority and no one following up with me, I had to schedule appointment with another doctor to go over the results with me so I can ask questions. No one should have to switch doctors mid procedure just to get there questions answered.

My wife has been a patient of Dr.Polson for a few years and has recommended for me to see her with my digestive issues. Dr.Polson has recently performed endoscopy and colonoscopy for me and I am impressed with her level of professionalism and knowledge. The service was outstanding! Also Dr.Polson is a very nice, pleasant person with excellent bedside manner. We need more Doctors like this!! I'm very happy!

I was referred to Dr. Polson after post-gallbladder removal for reoccurring pain with multiple elevated blood test results. She basically disregarded me immediately and said my test results weren't that elevated and I was probably experiencing common muscle pain and didn't know why I was even referred to her. She spent less than 15mins with me for an appointment I spent over a month waiting for. Unhappy with her conclusion, I went for a second opinion from another doctor who saw an actual pattern with my test results and concluded I had a severe form of biliary dyskinesia. I will never recommend Dr. Polson as she shows no interest or care for her patients.

Awful experience, I woke during procedure. I was in tremendous pain & saw everything around me. I was pushed back down, I told them to stop. Apparently the meds were not being monitored, the intravenous line came out of my arm, I woke and was in such pain. My arm swelled, and nurse said it stayed in, yet is sure swelled my arm. It was an awful experience. She was late to begin with, then she was upset at her computer not working, I should if seen the signs and backed out.

I went to Dr. Polson due to continued stomach pains. I was frustrated that I couldn't get another doctor to do a simple ultrasound to determine if my problems were connected to my gallbladder. Dr. Polson listened and agreed to order the test. She saw how frustrated I was after dealing with various other doctors. As a result, we found a hernia that needed to be repaired. She referred me to a very competent dr. to have the surgery done.
