Refused to take me seriously delaying my diagnosis
Dr. Tishler didn't take my heart issues and chronic pain seriously, and tried to prescribe me SSRIs for anxiety (the age old story for women). I'm so glad I never filled the prescription because it turns out I have a heart condition that is treatable with the correct medication - not SSRIs. I also had severe endometriosis which was causing my chronic pain and making my heart condition worse. Dr. Tishler does still care a lot and would be an amazing doctor if she just took a less paternalistic approach and admitted when something is beyond her expertise. A referral to a cardiologist and pelvic pain specialist would've saved me years of unnecessary suffering. Overall, if you want a doctor who makes decisions with you vs. for you and doesn't make you feel judged or invalidated, see someone else.

Julia is jealous of patients who are on testosterone.  Do not tell her if you take T or she will blame all of your medical conditions on it.  If she can't take it, you can't either. (In all seriousness, she does need to respect the fact that people are on medications for important reasons.  She needs to be more hesitant before taking a patient off of a medication by considering other potential causes for symptoms first.)

Not a very experienced or knowledgable physician with limited critical thinking or interpersonal skills. She has the potential to do more harm than to help. If given the opportunity, please invest your money towards a different provider.
