Dr. Julio Peguero, MD

If you wanna go to a doctor that practically says you are gonna die soon with a little laugh, you have chosen the perfect one. My mom felt so devastated, humiliated and hopeless after visiting this Doctor, he didn’t help her like doctors are supposed to do, he just made her feel worst. This is the most despot, unprofessional and even rude Dr we have seen. Those who say he is very “recognized “ I’m pretty sure it’s just his friends or family. He didn’t seem to want to help. Beware who you take your loved ones with.

Dr Pequero has been a God sent to my wife and family. He’s been spot on in his diagnosis of my Pancreatic Cancer . His treatment methods as well as his staff have been compassionate and caring. Very understanding and helpful in our time of disparé. I don’t know how to express my gratitude to this doctor and his staff. We would probably be experiencing a very different outcome were it not for Dr Peguero. God bless you all.

Dr. Peguero is an outstanding physician and an amazing mentor. During the time I’ve had the opportunity of shadowing his clinical practice and his research activities. I have seen from first hand the amount of work and dedication he puts in every single patient, from giving his cellphone to every single patient he sees, to the countless hours he spends after-hours, planning the best and most personalized treatment for each patient. To this day I acknowledge that oncology is a very challenging medical specialty, but without a doubt, I can't wait to get there due to the great example and mentorship that I have received from Dr. Julio Peguero.

My visit today was exceptional as always . I live in Conroe and drive almost an hour to come to Dr Pueguero. I have the utmost confidence and trust in him as my physician. The staff here are also amazing. Every one here is so efficient and friendly.

Doctor Peguero is an excellent physician, really trust worthy

Dr. Peguero is a great mentor. I am a medical student that has been shadowing him for a year and my medical knowledge has increased significantly. He cares about every single patient, he is a very ethic person and I fully recommend him as a teacher and doctor.

Terrible Physician in my opinion!! Very BAD. I'll be reporting him to the Medical Board. I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Dr.Peguero became my oncologist. He's with Oncology Consultants in Houston. He would withhold test results from me, including a critical Tumor Board Report. Finally was able to get it a month after he had it to give me. Never have been given an explanation for it. He promoted his own company for a PET scan. Said his equipment was new. Was later told by the operator that it's over 10 years old. Never told me about an important test, approved by FDA over 2 years ago, to determine if tumor had spread. Heard about it from other doctors. All my appointments with him had several people in the room. He would hold court. On two occasions he blurted out "You have psoriasis" but nothing followed. Why was that? Soon after I mentioned I was going to give a bad review, several 5 Star reviews showed up. Are they FAKE. Before that, his average rating was 2.9 Stars.

Dr. Peguero is an excellent doctor! I have great confidence in his medical skills and knowledge. He takes a personal interest in your needs and concerns. He also has an excellent staff at the Willowbrook office -- very efficient and helpful. I have been seeing him for several years and have had no complaints of any kind.

He is an amazing Doctor, he explained me all the situation of the illness and treatment. I feel very comfortable with him, he dedicates me time to resolve all our concerns.

I have loved every Physician I have met but he is by far one of the worst Doctors ever. It is clear he writes his own reviews in order to boost his rating on this website. He mocks his patients in front of Student Physicians who follow him. An embarrassment to an otherwise incredible Oncology treatment center.
