Dr. June Oconnor, MD

Scheduled an app to go over Menopause concerns. Dr O'connor walks into the room without correct information for visit, I let her know the correct reason I was there and her response was 'you're too young to be in menopause' . Well, typically that can't be diagnosed upon what someone looks like- last I knew although flattering. After discussion letting her know my FSH was pulled by my endocrinologist that verified I was in fact in menopause. At that point she began to ask me questions to verify what I was telling her. It is actually quite disappointing that a clinician that 'specializes' in women's health would speak before knowing anything in the chart or reason for the visit. I am wondering how many other woman had appointments for similar reasons and were not as prepared as I was or as confident, did they leave without being treated? Were they dismissed the same way I was? Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Very professional and caring

I have been seeing Dr O’Connor for many years and I trust her with my care. Everyone at her Marlborough office is so friendly, professional and caring. Most recently, I went in for my yearly exam and check-in was a breeze. The woman at the desk quickly scheduled my next annual appt right after checking me in, which was very convenient. There was no delay to be seen. The friendly atmosphere of the office is a great plus-everyone I interacted with was very kind and seemed happy to be there. Dr O’Connor really makes you feel comfortable and cared for. I don’t feel rushed during my appointments with her. Her professionalism, knowledge and manner are great. I highly recommend Dr O’Connor and her team!

I am seeing Dr.O’Connor from past 5years. She always greets with smile and listens to you. She never prescribed unnecessary tests or medication. She is best in her field.

Dr. O’Connor is very kind and she’s an excellent doctor. She takes the time to answer questions and always has great advice.

Dr. O’Connor is absolutely amazing. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, and listens to your concerns. Her warm and kind demeanor makes you feel so comfortable. I received excellent care from her during my first pregnancy and look forward to seeing her again with subsequent pregnancies.

Excellent visit

She seems reluctant to explain things in depth and neglected to tell me several important things (like a negative result following a biopsy.) She does not generally seem very informed or interested in answering questions, or very empathetic, for that matter. I might recommend her to someone with no other options because she's not terrible, but not terribly helpful.

It took a while to schedule an appointment, but I thought it would be worth it. I’ve had pain for years, and hoped Dr. O’Connor might help. She sent me on my way without so much as an examination, and never looked up from her computer. Turns out I have endometriosis, and suffered an additional 2 years before diagnosis. It’s okay to make mistakes, it happens, but I did not appreciate the dismissive attitude and less than 10 minutes we spent together. If you’re pregnant, she’s wonderful!

Listens to patients without rushing, friendly as matter of fact I considering switching to seeing for my next pregnancy.
