Can't diagnose well.
For a the sports medicine specialist he is awful. Broke my hamete, dude didn't catch it. Tore ligaments in ankle, did not order an mri. Now I have missing cartilage and years of recovery for my ankle after surgery. Saw a real specialist and they said Dorfman messed up in original diagnosis. If you're hurt, demand an MRI, don't leave it to this doctor to totally miss a diagnosis.

My visit was very unsatisfactory, came with diagnosis meniscus tear from urgent care, Dr. Dorfman rejected to write an order for MRI, repeated few times that I was not 30 or 40 and insurance would not approve it anyway. I'm 60. Called my insurance, they told me his statement was untrue and subjected to drop him. Went to other doctor, had MRI and surgery - everything was fixed, can walk and do everything. 2021

Dr. Dorfman has an organized, patient and pleasant practice. From my first visit (which wasn't even with him - it was with his associate doctor), I was comfortable. It is easy to talk with his staff (even when I am not so patient). He and his staff take the time to listen and understand the situation. He is thorough in his approach and takes my input into consideration. I look forward to hopefully many years with Dr. Dorfman.

Doctor Dorfman has been my GP for 9+ years. I've been very pleased. He takes the time to explain things, to diagnose things. The office staff is wonderful. The wait times are short. I can't see going anywhere else.

He takes the time to explain things to me and is also not condescending in his approach (how refreshing is that?!). Very knowledgeable and helpful in so many aspects. I also like that he is a DO not a MD so has the approach to try to get to the root cause instead of "here take this pill" to mask the pain. I also like the ease of using the patient portal for ease of communication with his staff.
