Dr. Justin Emtage, MD

Bladder mass identified on June 3, due to CT scan following gross hematuria. This condition required a cystoscopy to determine visual on mass and then required a hospital visit for same with a second hospital stay for UTI and other issues. Biopsy of mass is required yet we have called Dr. Emtage's office ,4 times with request from GP, and can not get a response regarding a biopsy. Please let us know if we need to contact a different office for help!

After breast cancer, I learned I had kidney cancer. Dr Emtage had to remove my left kidney due to the location of the cancer. He was an amazing surgeon, so kind and reassuring. He performed surgery, and guided me through recovery and treatment. He truly is a brilliant, empathetic, gifted surgeon. His staff reflects his superior customer service standards in every way. Dr. Emtage is the very best, second to none. Cancer is frightening and relying on a surgeon is important. You can trust that with Dr. Emtage you are safe, he WILL fix the problem, and his staff will encourage you through the haze of the diagnosis. He saved my life, yeah - I love the guy!!!

However, the surgeries removed only half of the rock, leaving me with discomfort and unresolved health concerns. The second surgery yielded no discernible results. Excellent I was rushed to the ER with severe lower right back pains. In the ER I was told that they found a very large tumor on my right kidney that would most likely needed removal. The ER recommended that I stay overnight and see the Uralogist the following day and that’s when I met the nicest most caring doctor. He explained my condition and how to proceed forward. The removal my kidney was Sep 3rd 2020. DR. Emtage stopped by several times to see me prior to the surgery and reassured me that all would be OK. He went over the robotic surgery and explained that this type of surgery would allow for less pain and a quicker recovery time. I was allowed to leave the hospital the following day and by Sep 5th I had no pain. The surgery required five small incisions on my belly and one larger one near the abdomen. All that the doctor explained would happened did. All I could say that for me he was a god sent. Thank you Dr. Emtage for looking after me and my family. May God bless you!

He has not gotten back to us. Are we still on for my surgery on the 11th of this month? Being left in the dark is not doing me or my lady any good. WONDER AND WORRY ???????

My husband has had an ongoing bladder problem that requires removal of his bladder. We were referred to Dr Emtage for that procedure. Surgery is scheduled for late November, but Dr Emtage did a smaller procedure first and we have had excellent results from that one. Previously had many problems with bleeding after the cystoscopies and when Dr Emtage performed one on him we had 0 bleeding. Sometimes you don't know what to exopect until it is finally done right.

Dr. Emtage is very professional yet personable at the same time. He took the time to listen & come up with an individual plan for me. I've never had an issue getting in touch with office which is a definite plus.
