The man who gave me light in a dark time.
After using another surgeon originally, for a dislocated ankle, and compound fracture, I was lied too, for months that the surgery went well, but the ongoing pain, and discoloration in my foot told me otherwise. By some miracle, I met Dr. Fleming. He greeted me with the utmost kindness, and immediately saw the pain in my eyes. He immediately diagnosed me with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, and took Xrays. To my shock, it turned out I had two additional fractures, and an abundance of scar tissue. Upon further inspection, the hardware in my leg and ankle was not positioned correctly. Dr. Fleming performed corrective surgery in May 2024, spent 4 and a half hours assuring I was fixed. I was in severe pain due to the CRPS, which luckily, I started using Dr. Pannullo for. Between these two amazing heros, I have gotten my quality of life back, and my bones are 100% healed. This man has a shining aura too him, and will spend all the time you need, to help you. I couldn't recommend anyone else

Ankle Replacement - Amazing Result
Dr. Fleming did a fantastic job in replacing my right ankle. I was actually able to play golf nine (9) weeks after my surgery. Dr. Fleming has a calm, confident and reassuring demeanor. After previously limping for over two years, I only wish I would have gone to Dr. Fleming earlier.

Repaired ankle replacement
Dr Fleming is the awesome doctor who fixed my botched (by a different doctor) ankle replacement. He is so kind considerate and highly competent. He explained everything he was going to do to fix my ankle with patience and took his time doing it. He was very personal and made me feel like I was important to him, not just “another surgery”. He gave me back my life. I can enjoy everything again, pain free! I am so thankful and blessed to have found Dr. Fleming. I work in the medical field, and can tell you, you would be lucky to have him as your doctor !

I Have a New Ankle - Miracles Happen
Dr. Justin Fleming recently performed ankle replacement surgery on my left ankle. For years, I have struggled with severe bone on bone arthritis in my left ankle.. I had seen and been treated by other doctors, which resulted in an Arizona Brace, which was awkward and heavy and not a long term solution for my chronic pain.In discussing my ankle issue with a friend, I learned that Dr. Fleming had performed ankle replacement surgery on his friend, who was pain free for the first time in years. Dr. Fleming fully explained the details of ankle replacement surgery and the recovery process, and the surgery was performed by Dr. Fleming in December of 2023.It has been 6 months since the surgery, and I am able to walk pain free. Dr. Fleming was extremely professional and totally engaged in my recovery. He is a pleasure to deal with and I could not be happier with him and the results of the surgery. I wish I had known more about this 'miracle' procedure years ago.

New ankle is a miracle!
When I first visited Dr. Fleming I wasn't sure if I would have a fusion or a replacement of my ankle which was at the end stage of arthritis for 35 years. After my consult with Dr. Fleming he assured me I was a good candidate and I felt confident in his abilities after visiting several other surgeons. I am now 90 days post-surgery and cannot believe how my life has been transformed. I no longer dread standing or walking because the pain is gone! I am still visiting PT to stretch my muscles and tendons, but this is normal for this procedure. Anyone with severe ankle damage in need of replacement should make an appointment and consult with Dr. Fleming. My life has opened to so many new possibilities, T

Ankle Replacement
Dr. Fleming performed a correction replacement on a badly done previous replacement (done elsewhere). He thoroughly analyzed the problems and inserted a new replacement that eliminated the pain and restored my ability to walk. He was professional, diligent, and understanding. His follow-up was likewise exemplary. In addition to his clear explanation of the problem and subsequent process, he carefully listened to me and responded to my concerns, giving me renewed optimism going forward. Thank you, Dr. Fleming.

Thanks to Dr. Fleming, I am pain free.
I saw Dr. Justin Fleming because my ankle was giving me a lot of pain and swelling. I had broken my tibia and fibula 44 years ago and the bones set a little off center. That and age, caused arthritis in my ankle and it has been painful for many years.Dr. Fleming recommended an ankle replacement surgery (arthroplasty), which he performed on November 2, 2023. I am in my 11th week post surgery and I saw him today and he said I have no restrictions. I no longer need a hard boot, crutches and best of all, I have no pain.Dr. Fleming did an excellent job. He is detailed and caring and he has terrific beside manners. He is attentive and listens to your concerns and questions and explains the process in detail so you can comprehend the healing process. I am very thankful for his expertise and he is a delight to have as a doctor and I would recommend him highly. He is a blessing for humankind.

Dr. Justin J. Fleming, DPM, FACFAS
I was referred to Dr. Fleming for ankle replacement surgery due to his expertise and years of experience in performing this particular operation. He is most personable, capable and professional. He explained the procedure in great detail and we agreed I was a good candidate. Post surgery I am now free of chronic pain in this joint and I could not be happier with the results. My thanks to Dr. Fleming, his surgical team and his office staff. Everyone was very good to me!

Good and caring Doctor
After searching and suffering for 10 years I was referred to Dr Fleming for a total ankle replacement. He was thorough with explaining the operation and lengthy recovery. He patiently answered all questions. Had the day stay operation in Barnabas hospital Nov 2022 with the goal of dancing at my son's wedding which I did and now can walk without pain. The office staff is very good and responsive and return calls promptly. I highly recommend Dr. Fleming

His professionalism is truly outstanding and noteworthy.I cannot adequately express my satisfaction with the outcome of the procedure. Pickleball Injury - No Match for Dr. Fleming!
This past May of 2023 I tore my Achilles Tendon playing Pickleball (me and everyone else!!) I never had any injuries before this one and was concerned about getting surgery and especially how long I'd be out of commission. I'm in my mid-forties and am very active. During our first meeting Dr. Fleming thoroughly explained all of my options, both surgical and non-surgical. I decided to go with surgery. Throughout the procedure and aftercare the doctor and staff were a pleasure to work. Dr. Fleming has a phenomenal bedside manner and is both relatable and realistic. My results have been tremendous! Currently, I'm a little less than 3 months out, after surgery and I'm already back to to low impact workouts and walking 3-5 miles a day regularly. I have decided to take a break from pickleball for a few months . . .but I'll for sure be on the court next spring! I'd highly recommend Dr. Fleming!

Dr. Fleming is a compassionate, patient and precise surgeon. I saw him after a failed surgery with another surgeon and he listened and explained what went wrong and how he could fix it. He surely did. It is 3 months post op and I am walking in a sneaker.

I fractured my ankle in 2020 and despite surgery and extensive physical therapy I continued to have major swelling and pain. Numerous physicians had no answers or solutions and it got to the point I couldn’t walk at all without extreme pain. Then in 2022 I happened upon what I referred to as Dr. Fleming’s infomercial in which he explained just what was involved in ankle replacement surgery. Dr Fleming was very thorough, kind and compassionate and most of all an excellent surgeon. My recovery is going extremely well. He has helped me get my quality of life back and I’m so grateful to Dr. Fleming.

After a painful 8-year journey in which I had two failed ankle replacements, many doctor visits, braces, meds, therapy and more... faced with the possibilityof having tomeasure my days by howmany steps I could take & the recommendation of amputation by three doctors, we finally found our way to the knowing capable hands of Dr. Fleming and his staff. He somehow diagnosed and managed to put my foot back together and in 6 months I am walking without excruciating pain. there is an expression "I care how much you know but I gotta know how much you care" that being the case, There should be a line around your facility... Thank you doctor Fleming and staff for not giving up on me. I'm gonna walk until the wheels fall off!

Dr. Justin J. Fleming - Orthopaedic Surgeon
After having a compound fracture on my ankle back in 1979 and living with stiffness and pain until 2020 I was referred to Dr. Fleming. He is an amazing and knowledgeable physician who replaced my ankle and gave me a new life. While the technology was not available 10+ years ago, it is now and Dr. Fleming is the expert you can count on to perform this replacement. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Fleming and the staff at University Orthopaedics. I can’t thank them enough for the excellent care I received.
