Not a physician who puts patients first
We have tried on several occasions to get a hold of the doctor MyChart, over the phone and in person after talking with his nurse. Even when my dad had dark tarry stool. The nurse said we would hear back AFTER she talked with the doctor. I still called the office after that and was told he was out of the office and it was waiting for him to address the following week. Patients don’t seem to be a priority no matter how emergent the issue is or how sick and depleted the person is.

Highly Recommend!
Dr. Woodlief listened to all my issues, checked my chart, and discussed possible causes and treatment plans. I appreciate that he didn't want to start with 'procedures' and 'pharmaceuticals.' He is very knowledgeable, and he tells you what he isn't 100% sure about. He is more about preventive care.

Stellar Service!
Dr. Woodlief saved me big time. He was by far one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. He took the time to listen carefully, give appropriate advice, have a sense of humor and understood the whole of my situation. I would recommend Dr. Woodlief anytime.

If you want a physician you can talk with, shows compassion and lacks some anger issues then keep looking. I tried him for years but once I had a medical issue I saw this man lacks what most would consider basic for a physician. I am surprised he deals directly with patients. I found him to be an introvert who would get very angry during my visits. I think a laboratory researcher would be more appropriate for his personality and I have moved on. In some ways I feel for the guy, he seems disturbed.
