Dr. Jyoti Datta, MD

Dr Datta might be a great doctor (as some reviews say), but is it worth waiting for two hours and listening how he chatters loudly with a previous patient, discussing his private issues and his health issues for all to hear? I don’t think so.I got tired and irritated sitting in a room and left because otherwise I’d get anxiety attack.It’s very unprofessional and irresponsible and I respectful to make people wait for hours. The front desk girl was very polite and friendly and apologetic.

Giving 3 stars because the front desk girl was very polite and friendly. She took me to a room promptly. Don’t know about the doctor’s qualities because I waited in my room for an hour just listening how the doctor was loudly chatting with his previous patient in another room. Besides just general chatter I’ve heard lots of confidential stuff too. Some reviews mention about long waiting time because the doctor is personal. I love when a doctors are attentive and taking their time. But it should not be on account of personal time of another patient. I waited one hour and it didn’t look that the previous visit was going to end any time soon. I got very anxious and tired and I left otherwise I’d get anxiety attack right there. Dr Datta should NOT schedule his patience so close if he “takes his time”. I did a favor to two or three other people waiting in a waiting room.

Left the Dr's Office without seeing Dr Datta today. I was told he was going to be 20mins late but I gave up after waiting 90 minutes beyond my appointment time. It was a 45 minute drive across town in each direction AND I had to pay for parking. My ailment is multiplied by stress and to be honest it will probably help me more if I DON'T go to see this Dr... it's too stressful! Their time management is appalling.

I'm currently waiting for my second appointment with Dr. Datta. Its an hour past my 9am appointment time, and he has not even arrived at the office yet, and there are people in front of me in line. This happened on my first visit as well where I waited almost 2 hours. Office staff is unapologetic. He is very nice, and seems knowledgeable, but it really doesn't matter if he doesn't respect others' time.

Had to wait 2 1/2 hours. When I left the parking lot was empty.

I love Dr. Datta and his staff, it can be a wait sometimes but im very satisfied being under his care

This is the best pulmonologist ever! He saved my life twice from rare fungal infections! He is very thorough and very kind! He is usually a bit behind schedule but he's well worth his expertise! I would prefer to wait for a competent doctor than to see someone who could kill me because they aren't as knowledgeable and experienced as Dr. Datta! This is a one of a kind doctor! If you have a major lung illness, he's your doc!

Took 4 calls to get Appt. Left 3 VMs with no response over 1 wk period. Arrived 1/2 hour early for appt. It has been 1-1/2 hrs since I arrived and there are several patients ahead of me. Doctor not here, nurse says he's late everyday. He finally arrived in the office at 11:15 (my appt was for 9:30) and began to see patients ( I'm #3). I HAVE to wait as my referral is about to expire. VERY UNHAPPY!
