Couldn't find a doctor to help me
I had previous abdominal surgeries and have endometriosis, pcos, pain and heavy bleeding. Due to all my other surgeries no doctors wanted to preform surgery on me. I for referred to Dr. Lybarger and he took me as a patient immediately. Not only made it my decision if I wanted surgery. I waited almost 3 years and finally got the full hysterectomy. He was able to preform it robotic, but told me due to all my other surgeries I might need to be cut open. He is amazing, down to earth and all the nurses and ppl at the hospital love him. I didn't even know high up he was as a surgeon, cause he isn't above you like alot of doctors. And he LISTENS to YOU.

Very Lucky to have Dr. Lybarger as GYN Oncologist
Dr Lybarger explained everything in detail. Answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable and clear. His Office Staff is great. The Nurses are incredible. They are compassionate, attentive and supportive.

He does not answer questions. Will talk over you not letting you get a word in . I had a hernia operation done that was not asked for, he did it during a hysterectomy. He removed all lady parts did 15 biopsies along with the hernia and sent me home the same day. Two days later I was back in the hospital for a week. My experience with this team of doctor's has been a nightmare. I DO NOT recommend Dr.Lybarger or his team at all.

Our experience with Dr. LyBarger has been very good. He is treating my 86 yr old mother-in-law for endometrial cancer. She also has Alzheimer's and a severe memory loss. During our first visit, she asked over and over why she was there. Each time she asked, he answered as though it was the first time she had asked. He was very good with her and thorough in going through all the treatment options with us, answering all of "our" questions, drawing pictures for understanding, etc. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend this doctor, we feel very good about seeing him. He also has wonderful staff around him - everyone we encountered was absolutely exceptional.

After admitted to RMC with an unknown condition. From day one he was empathetic consoling and genuinely concerned that my care was explained and aware of the unknown. I love him. Best physician as well as his resident staff were excellent.

I saw him for two minutes before my surgery, then never again. Not thrilled about that. However, he was highly recommended for his surgical skill by an RN friend that I trust. In the end, surgical competence was what was most important.

My mom is a patient of Dr. Lybarger, and we have been impressed with his knowledge of ovarian cancer, and his willingness to talk through each option with my mom. He is very busy, and that can sometimes be annoying, but that is out of his control.

He made me feel very comfortable to ask questions and not belittle me or make my concern seem invalid like some doctors tend to do. He explained everything as thoroughly as I wanted him to and spent more than the time allotted with me. He did a very nice job pre-surgery and during surgery as well. He was definitely the right doctor for me and I would recommend him again!

Dr. LyBarger went above and beyond in treating my cervical cancer. He performed a radical hysterectomy, appendectomy and detached a part of my intestines that had been stuck to some scar tissue. He was honest, caring and spent lots of time answering my questions. Recovery was a snap and I had minimal scaring. My digestive health is much better as well due to his aforementioned thoroughness. It has almost been a year since my surgery. With cancer, you never know, but so far, so good.
