Dr. Kai McGreevy, MD

Dr. McGreevy has been treating me for pain for more than 6 years. As a senior citizen and a die hard body builder, he keeps me in tip top shape which helps me continue to live the active healthy life style that i enjoy. He has treated many areas of pain for me over the years without the use of opioids or any type of pain drugs, and he guides me on ways to continue my active life style in a way that helps prevent further injjury. Thank you Dr. McGreevy for your passion and abundant curiosity that keeps you studying and looking for ways to improve lifestyles while avoiding dangerous drugs and surgeries whenever possible.

I have been a patient since 2018 and his care doesn’t disappoint. He listens to his patients and will discuss all options for your care.

In 2018 I found Dr.McGreevy on the internet for temp.pain management as I was going to have knee replacement surgery.I was very impressed with him when I met him although I was surprised he was so young and accomplished with his business when I met him.Wow! Well,my surgery failed miserably!! I need pain management for my remaining days but also for my spine disease to avoid surgery again as mush as possible! Here it is Jan 2024 and I can't say enough about how much Dr.McGreevy has helped me with my pain, my memory problems,my headaches,my list grows.I moved 60 miles away and I still keep him.I always will and I'm sure you will too .

First of all, when I'm looking at reviews on a doctor I'm not interested in the reviews on his billing Clerk because that only brings the ratings down of what is a fabulous doctor. Dr McGreevy is the first pain management doctor to actually help me. I find his staff to be nothing but warm and pleasant. I find Dr McGreevey to want to get to the bottom of your issue and do what he can or what is medically possible that is going to help you. He is very intelligent. I especially like that most all testing that needs to be done can be done right there in his office and you don't have to go to several different doctors. I've been seeing Dr McGrady for a few years and I just find him to be a great caring intelligent physician.

Terrible. Billed me for visits that did not happen. in phone call, talked to other staff about urine samples (not mine), little interest in me. Waited 1 1/2 hours not to be seen but still got billed the co-pay. Paid 40.00 copay but acct. dept. credited me only for 17. 43. Stay away.

Excellent Dr. who listens and cares about his patients. Have had nothing but great experiences with him.

Worst doctor I’ve ever seen

I went here after multiple years with chronic migraines. He was the only neurologist to find a cause and a treatment that helped me live a normal life! I have recommended him plenty of times. Also, always quick appointments and never had to wait!

I had the worst experience with Dr. McGreevy and even more with staff! I was in so much pain but instead of helping me, he made me suffer so much more after I was recovering from cancer! I had long wait times and staff was so rude!

Gives detailed information and instructions. Friendly and easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable.

I wasn't sure about Dr. McGreevy due to other online reviews but I am glad I gave him a chance. He took his time with me and answered all of my questions. He formulated a game plan to get to the root cause of my chronic pain. He was very thorough! Pros: able to get in as a new patient in a reasonable time, he took his time with me, and answered all questions. very thorough diagnostics has a plan to manage my chronic pain. Cons: Dr. McGreevy can run behind at times.

Went with pins and needles in my feet and ankles, and numbness in my finger tips, along with balance issues. Did brain MRI, all the nerve tests, (EVOX etc.), balance tests, cognitive tests. Dr. McGreevy did ultrasound on my feet, wrists and elbows himself for "hands on" diagnosis. He identified 3 causes of my symptoms and we will begin treatment soon. Very dedicated and thorough. He is one of only 100 doctors with his qualifications in the USA, and he is 5 miles from our house. He also has a location in Palm Coast. Went here after another Neurologist did nothing to help me.

Stay away from him trust me. My Medicare and tricare will be looking into him

My mother has had a negative experience with Dr.McGreevy’s office. Not necessarily due to Dr.McGreevy’s competence as a physician, although he could be more personable. His office staff is very unprofessional and has hung up on my mother multiple times when she has called to follow up on prescriptions. It’s unfortunate that his front desk has no compassion for patient suffering and care.

Dr. McGreevy maybemedically qualified but as a person....he ranks at the very bottom. His bedside manner on a scale of 1-10 is a minus 1. He is inconsiderate of his patients ; I have waited over 2 hours for my scheduled appointment. He is totally impersonal; I visited with him on four occasions and he did not speak to me after the first visit. He is an egocentric money grabbing person. I wouldn't go to him again, even if he was the last doctor in the world.

The jury is still out on Dr. McGreevy's success in treating my chronic pain. What the jury has already reported on is the office's consistent disregard for the time of their patients. They know that if patients had other legal alternatives to acquire pain medication, their wait times would not be tolerated. On two successive appointments I waited more than 60 minutes past my appointment time to make it into the inner examination office. Sometimes non-medically related performances by a practitioner are an indication of his/her medical competencies. I am hopeful that this is not the case here. I'll report back.

Every bad thing said about this doctor and his office staff are true. The doctor may help some, but I doubt the majority. Don’t waste your time. Try to get into Mayo instead. Their primary care physician can take care of most of your needs without referring you to a pain doctor.

I am 64 years old experiencing pain in a variety of places and from different causes. Dr. Megreevy and his staff have kindly addressed and thoroughly tested for causes and solutions to my myriad of problems. I am at last able to sleep well at night thanks to them where many others had failed. Wait times have gotten longer in the past 12 months, I must confess, but I figure that is due to his expertise; the wait is worth it!!

I believe Dr. McGreevy is a great Dr. and has an excellent state of the art facility however the inefficiency of the business office, primarily insurance authorizations was not acceptable. It took an average of 3-4 weeks to get authorizations for injections for severe sciatica. Requests were not filed with the insurance company in a timely manner or submitted correctly. The lack of empathy and sense of urgency for someone in extreme pain was disappointing. Unfortunately I had to go elsewhere.
