One of my family members became addicted to a benzodiazepine while under Dr. Joseph’s care. My family member is now getting help from another psychiatrist to get off the medication, but is having a really hard time. Dr. Joseph must not be up to date on information in his field or is possibly outright negligent based on how long and how high of doses he was prescribing the medication.

Completely unqualified. Never spoke to me personally made decision based on speaking for 5 minutes to my ex husband Unethical and incomprehensible

Dr Joseph did not take a full history and was very dismissive. In fact, his recommendation was erroneous and based on old data, not the newest medical practice. He seemed more interested in convincing me to pay thousands of dollars for a treatment so he could make money versus actually providing care. I would question his medical ethics.

I seen Dr. Joseph from Nov or Dec 1997 until around mid 2008, a month or 2 after my mom had passed and a year after my 42 year old brother had passed from a massive heart attack. I tried to talk to him but he seemed in more of a hurry to shove me out the door to gather my $75.00 and bring in the next person... Ended up going to a different psychiatrist, that put me on Toprimate (25mg 4x daily) had a mini stroke and I now have some mesh thing on the center wall of my heart that I'm hoping doesn't tear the muscle or they'll have to perform open heart surgery on me... He always seemed very disinterested. Never had an issue getting in to see him to get my scripts every month, He just didn't want to listen to me.

I saw Dr. Joseph for approximately 1 year. He listened, was respectful, and patient with me. I have a Master's Degree, and it is important for me to have a doctor who listens and is open to hearing MY ideas, as well as my concerns. He is low key and "steady." I liked him. There can be a "longer" wait to see him, but I felt it was worth it. I also liked that--at every visit--they took my vital signs. I liked this.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to see him. The wait to see him (even though you have an appt.) is over an hour. He is very cold and it doesn't really seem like he is listening to you most of time. And when he responds to your questions it is in a very condescending manor. Sometimes is it hard for me to understand what he is saying.

Dr gave me poor advice to assist me with my issues

Long waits, POOR service. Multiple calls for a refill on scripts. Have had to leave work early more than once to deal with his and his staff's total incompetence. If it were possible to give zero stars I would.
