Dr. Kalpana Hari Hall, MD

I saw Dr. Hari Hall several times for strange tingling sensations throughout my body. After performing some standard testing everything came back normal and I had a follow up with her to discuss the results. I tried to get her to walk me through some possibilities of what might be happening and she was incredibly dismissive even when I was clearly on the verge of tears and frustrated trying to ask questions. She yelled at me for not finishing my sentence. She kept saying 'excellent' and wanted to get off the video call even though I was clearly still struggling and without answers. DO NOT see this doctor unless you have something very straight forward. She has no time or patience to explain things to you in a human way.

Dr Hari Hall is a good listener and provided very helpful insights into a range of health issues: excellent analysis, explanation and follow up. Agree it can be hard to get appointments but ell worth it when one is being treated and served.

I was running late to my appointment and Dr. Hair was able to accommodate me. She answered all my questions and concerns. I didn’t feel rushed, and I felt at ease about my treatment.

My Insomnia exacerbated by light sleep. Dr. Hari Hall addressed physical issues like restless legs, sleep apnea and things that can be fixed with a drug or an appliance. My symptoms were mild but she caught so many things that affected my sleep. She encouraged me to stop drugs when appropriate and only use as necessary as for my daytime narcolepsy or the sleeping pill she offered me if I wanted it since my insomnia is still hanging in there. But to her credit she told me the hard news- I have to disassociate being awake with my bed. That is no lying in bed long hours for whatever reason- worrying or depression on too tired to sleep! That means getting up out of my warm cozy bed and going elsewhere. That’s tough love and one tough doctor who tells you what you need to hear not just what you’re willing to accept. I still wonder if I’m not living in the wrong time period. In another world it would be fine to get up at 3am and get to work- as a baker, someone in a a cloister, a monetary…

While setting me at ease with her relaxed manner, she reviewed my annual C-Pap data results, upon which she decided to lower the air pressure flowing from the machine, into me. She decided my next appointment could be put off for a year. Last year, my first with the Center, she had me meet with her aide, and had me undergo a test to verify my need for the C-Pap: I had mentioned I'd lost a lot of weight at a cardiologist's urging. While correcting an overweight condition can eliminate apnea for many people, I continue to need the device's help.

She was on time! She took care to get all my info. She asked me if I had any questions for her! She set up the next appointments I will need. Very personable and caring.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed with the physician who provided me detailed information about my condition and how she will be managing it. She stressed the importance of my compliance that really made me think and she offered additional support through classes offered by the office. The professionalism, courtesy, and time spent to make sure I understand what was expected and information provide was excellent. Even though Dr. Hari was new to my case. She did a complete review of my history and asked a lot of questions about all dimensions of my history and suggested reducing medications as opposed to just renewing them - felt like it was a complete appointment. Thank you.

Dr Hari Hall is the best. She knows her stuff and communicates it very well I would. Highly recommend her for people with sleep apnea.

I appreciated the doctor's expertise and her ability to help me understand plainly. She was very approachable. She outlined alot of options and explained my questions. The problem is with the Neurology Center, the long wait time on the phone and the long time it takes to get an appointment. One thing good is that there often is an opening due to a cancellation, so do circle back and call about available appointments before your own. She also said there is no portal for questions, and the wait time to call them is somewhat prohibitive.

I have been Dr. Hari-Hall’s patient for many years. She is helpful, responsive, and kind. I trust her completely with my apnea.
