One star, cause I can’t do less
Super judgmental. Was unfortunately referred to this Dr… I have never felt so bad for making the most difficult decision of my whole life. I hope that no woman ever has to experience the displeasure of speaking with this Doctor

One star only because she was pleasant
I chose Dr Das because of her impressive information listed in her bio and the fact that she called herself an 'expert in menopausal medicine and hormone replacement therapy'. Her nurse wasn't informed about basic menopause symptoms. Dr Das said I was too young to be experiencing menopause (even though I told her multiple times that I was there for perimenopause) and told me to eat less and workout more to lose the excess weight I'd gained because of it (outdated information). She wanted to put me on birth control pills which isn't the best option and dismissed many of my concerns. She ordered an ultrasound which turned out to be unnecessary and after all was said and done I am not closer to any answers or solutions and now have received a bill for over $1000 which is absolutely ridiculous. I will start using online doctors who actually specialize in what they say. I'm extremely disappointed in my visit and the state of our healthcare in general. 0 out of 10 would not recommend.

Informative and excellent care
I have had Dr. Kamalini Das as my OBGyn for over 20 yrs, before our first child was born. I have been extremely satisfied with care that Dr Das has provided me. Now that our daughter is 19, Dr. Das is also her provider.

Put me off OBgyns
I had bad nausea and some vomiting my first trimester and had lost a considerable amount of weight. This was also a few months after the covid vaccine had come out. She made me feel bad for losing weight and just said to have smaller and more frequent meals. Did not offer any other medications to help it. And shamed me for not getting the vaccine even though we were about 4 months into it and did not have enough information on pregnancy and the fetus. Very dismissive and judgy. She’s ruined obs for me. I changed to a

Extremely judgmental and doesn't listen
This is my very first OB-GYN visit. I selected Dr. Das due to her impressive profile on HealthPartners. I soon realized that an impressive profile and medical degree means nothing when you refuse to listen to your patients without judgement. I felt like Dr. Das did not listen to my medical history and concerns. She made assumptions and judged me due to my weight and lifestyle. I am extremely disappointed and will be looking to book with a different doctor next time.

I had the displeasure of being her patient at the Minneapolis VA. She dismissed my pain and concerns and used out dated information to try to "treat" my conditions. Upon reviewing her interaction notes she input she completely painted a false picture of how our appointments went. I have little trust in this doctor to provide the same level of care I have received in the past from other doctors in the same field of work. She repeatedly tried telling me that getting pregnant will cure my endometriosis and that birth control will suppress it, both of which is false. When I tried to have an educated conversation with her she just kept repeating herself and talking over me to the point of leaving me in tears, overly frustrated, and completely disappointed.

Top notch with technical proficiency. I had an endometrial biopsy and it was relatively easy. However, I was told I could watch the entire thing on a screen, but she decided I was not mature enought to watch when it came to the part where they actually took the biopsy. She treats people like they are imbeciles. It would have been much easier if she had just allowed me to watch the biopsy. She was very rude.
