Dr. Kamini Patel, MD

Horrible horrible. She tried to prescribe me something that from experience I know it does not work. She is no receptive to anything and very condescending. She even became irate and disconnected our phone call. It was disgusting. I had to file a complaint on her. I hope to never encounter her again. Please beware and stay away.

I met with doctor Patel virtually about my blood pressure. Without asking much about my situation or offering advice on how to navigate my situation, Dr. Patel spoke to me as if I was a drug seeker and ended our visit in less than three minutes. Many folks are limited in their ability to do in person visits due to the pandemic, and because of covid I was displaced from my home and do not currently have a PCP. I called for the virtual visit under these circumstances—-at the very beginning of the call Dr. Patel illustrated that this was not something she felt comfortable dealing with. That’s understandable, but the care received was condescending and unprofessional. I have hesitance going in to an office in my location where case numbers are high, as an immunocompromised individual and that consideration was completely brushed over. I would not recommend a Dr. who cannot at least talk to a patient for more than three minutes with compassion who doesn’t ask questions about medical history
