Dr. Kamlesh Sandhu, DO

She was beyond rude, and lacked any amount of empathy for my symptoms. I don’t recommend her to absolutely anybody, and she is a driving factor of why I no longer want Kaiser.

I had a first time video visit with dr sandhu today & felt she was extremely rude and condescending. Was hung up on 20 minutes into appmnt.As I explained my side effects from the plethora of medications I have been prescribed & consult w/pharmacist she told me I’m reading too much into it. I have had no decreases in panic and anxiety, I have a fissure from constipation from one of the medications.Depression,which I never had before taking the medicine,constipation,insomnia, & behavioral changes such as anger. I explained how I had to stop taking one medication due to constipation that caused a fissure which requires surgery and immediately had withdrawal symptoms from. I’m here for MY best interest,while she is not. She was argumentative when I’m explaining my side effects & lack of feeling any better since I started seeing psychiatrist a year ago. In my opinion people whove never taken the medicine&don’t know or listen to how you feel should not be practicing. SNRI wthdrawal.

Does not listen to you. Dr. Sandhu worries more about her license and following company policy than patient care. She contradicts herself often in conversation, eroding one's confidence in her judgement and advice. She pressures you about the time remaining in the appointment, often saying that your responses are too long even though she insists on asking very long, personal questions and proceeds to get angry when you politely decline to answer. She doesn't just check her watch to tell you to stop responding to her violating questions, she vocally blames her poor time management skills on the patient in a very aggressive manner, making one feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. She is the embodiment of everything one does NOT want in a psychiatrist, or any healthcare provider for that matter. In short, if you value your mental health at all, stay far, far away from Dr. Sandhu and, if possible, the Kaiser Healthcare system all together.
