Dr. Kamran Hamidi, MD

It was a privilege to have Dr. Hamidi as my doctor. This is a man that takes his job and your life very seriously. He fought hard for me on many levels and pulled me back from certain death from Covid 19. He took the time to explain the many things that he felt were necessary and why. Dr. Hamidi popped in nearly every day to check up on me, give me updates, recommendations, and just to pop in to let me know that he was there. I never felt like I was "another" patient. He made me feel like I mattered, treated me with respect, and shared medical information with me to review so my wife could make a well-informed decision. He gets right to the point and does not waste time in doing all he can to help you return to a healthy and normal life. I appreciate his approach and I thank him very much. Dr. Hamidi is one of the most compassionate and caring Doctors I have ever had the privilege of being treated by. His vast knowledge of medicine and disease is complimented by an attitude of dedication to his patients. He doesn't hesitate to go the extra mile for a successful outcome and treatment plan. He is not only the type of Doctor, but also the type of HUMAN that we should all strive to be. I would not hesitate to see him again, or to recommend him to any of my family and friends.

This Dr is the best Dr. I have ever had. I was admitted to Saddleback memorial on July 12th with Covid-19. MRSA, Pneumonia and have type two diabetes. I was in bad shape. Of course his knowledge and expertise was AMAZING! He treated me with five rounds of Remdesevere and two rounds of convalescent plasma. I was in the hospital for two weeks and even spent 3 days in the ICU which was one step away from being placed on a ventilator. Although my physical health was in jeopardy my mental health was worse. I am a worrier and get depressed and scared easily when I don't feel I'm getting better. This man SINGLE HANDEDLY pulled me through this awful disease and even worse mental state. I said "Tell me strait, am I going to die? He said "I'm not going to let you die" He told me every day, for two weeks, that my numbers were slowly improving. I'm not 100% they improved every day but he knew I needed to hear this. He even discharged me probably a day early because he knew I was ready to lose it m

Because I was able to have Dr Hamidi give the proper assessment of a severe infection in my finger that brought me to the ER at Saddleback Hospital, I was treated successfully after needing antibiotics administered intravenously for over one-and-a-half day’s after my admittance to the hospital. I was very lucky to have found the proper diagnosis and treatment and the best infectious disease doctor to prevent further infection and/or complications. Thank you Dr Hamidi. I require a follow up appointment and will contact him.

My son has been tested positive for covid-19 and through Dr Hamidi’s early correct diagnostic and his professional treatment my son could go through that rough time relative easily and got to his health back. My family and I are very thankful and wish all best the world to him.

Came for a visit with Dr. Hamidi after spending time in West Africa. EXCELLENT infectious disease doctor, very kind and helpful. He was the only doctor who was able to help me out after I went around circles trying to find a doctor who knew what he was doing. Most definitely would recommend!!!!

He is brilliant and very scientific. Dr. Hamidi is detailed oriented and does a complete analysis. I would recommend that he is one of the better infectious disease doctors in the area.

My 87 year old father was seen and treated while he was in Mission Hospital for a cellulitis that turned septic on my father's arm by Dr. Hamidi. He was extremely professional and caring. I do believe he saved my father's life by being on top of everything and following up intensely with his care and expertise.

I was hospitalized a year ago for a variety of issues. Unrelated were blood clots and a MAC diagnosis (initially tested for TB). Dr. Hamidi has been overseeing the medication to hopefully eradicate the MAC. His professionalism and level of care, mixed with a personable demeanor is helping make this process more bearable.

Received excellent care and attention from Dr, Hamidi. I was vacationing in California and was hospitalized with cellulitis and treated by Dr, Hamidi. I would highly recommend him. He was personable and so professional making my wife and I feel so much at ease ! We are back in N.Y. now free of this infection ... Thank You Dr. Hamidi !!!
