Dr. Kanwar Gill, MD

Dr. Gill is an excellent physician, but it is impossible to contact his office by telephone. I am trying to schedule a colonoscopy, have called multiple times with 15 minute hold times, and no answer.Very frustrating.

Dr. Krupitskya referred me to Dr. Gill for a growing pancreatic cyst. Dr. Gill was knowledgeable, took his time, and, oh lord, answered my email promptly, and personally, and was reassuring. Dr. Gill talked to me before surgery and after surgery. He simply told me it didn't look like cancer but we wouldn't really know until the biopsy came back. Just his presence was calming and assuring. I looked him up and saw that he'd done some serious work with pancreatic problems and put my trust in him. The nurses were fantastic. The anesthesiologist actually came in and talked to me before the procedure. I wasn't ignored, when I was cold I was covered with warm blankets, a nurse was always within earshot and listened to me. I'm an old bird (77) with plenty of hospital miles on me and I want everyone to know how fantastic Dr. Gill, and John Muir Walnut Creek, and John Muir Concord are because many of us don't trust doctors or hospitals anymore. All A+++ here.

Dr. Gill is very caring. He takes the time to listen to you. He speaks in a manner that is understandable. He is extremely knowledgeable and has done several procedures on me that have all come out excellent I would highly recommend him 2NE1 I have chronic pancreatitis and he does a special procedure where he goes in and does a nerve block on the pancreas. I have absolutely no complaints about him I think he is wonderful. He has changed offices since I've seen him last and I'm hoping that I can

We found Dr. Gill extremely rude and uncaring. He gave the impression I was wasting his time and was very short with me. At my procedure he refused to speak with my wife after at the hospital while I was in recovery and in great pain. The nursing staff commented that Dr. Gill is often rude to them as well and were shocked that my family was left waiting to speak wirh him to only be ignored. Dr. Gill is quick to put down other G.I.'s in the area and feels strongly he is superior to all.

Dr Kanwar Gill is excellent. He listens and communicates clearly, and is very compassionate and caring. He has tremendous interest in the practice of gastroenterology and the human body that enables him to excel in diagnosing and treating. Dr Gill was awesome at helping my partner when he had colon cancer, showing tremendous compassion and skill at a stressful time. Dr Gill also went out of his way to help me when I had a blocked intestine. Amazing!
